A guy hides away from the rest of his beach party, trying to avoid getting splashed, only to be discovered and have all of their worries wiped clean off in one go, leaving her now happy to be all wet.

So, uh, this was originally going to be what is now the alt ending, but after seeing how the BG looked with the shadowing I had a sudden inspiration and went all in on a much more unusual turn on the idea. :)

The inspiration? Well the shadow effect I used for the BG kinda looked like a water stain in the shape of the character and that let to, well, a bit of a mix of ideas, mainly a small revisit to the concept in Brat To Splat! Not a direct continuation, but more a side version of the idea?

Took to getting the paint/splat look a bit better then the original concept, got it looking a lot more paint like then it was, as well as somewhat more depth? I think it looked pretty good. Anyways, this took like two hours to get the idea looking right. For something I was intending to be more simple and quick. So there's also that. Whoops? ^^;

I guess this also suggests the other people at the beach party have also been 'splashed'. If so, then I hope they also had good spots to get splashed to, since... UM... I'm... sure it's fine? <_<;

The alternate ending exists for a more carefree, I guess, Ranma 1/2 feel to the change instead? So there's that. :)

Included is the full sequence, all the panels, the BG with the 'shadow' version that inspired the rework of the idea as well as a 'cleaner' look of the splatted one. Then the alternate ending, which was the original idea for this and then, finally, the linearts, because I had them so, why not.

Not exactly sure what tags I even use for this idea, so I just went with whatever came close to mind. Complicated. ^^;

Anywho, enjoy! :)

That certainly is an interesting way to get TF'd. I love the female design so much, and also her attitude is so fun. I guess the water washed away all the hesitant guyness. xD

She ended up quite the cutie with the color added, very gleeful. :D I assume he was fairly unenthusiastic about the beach to begin with, so having all that doubt get splashed away, as well as any masculinity, only bolstered her positive outcome. Though it does seem a bit of sense also washed off, so not exactly a perfect result? Then again, to some that is a bonus. :)
