Poor Elias. Though is it really safe for Flare's blue haired human to stay in that place when Flare isn't there to protect him considering Elias and Flare's pets could be attacked at any time by someone like Burn?

Is Blaze really being tolerable when she tried to leave without talking to Elias at first and is making sure to call Elias Flare's pet twice, the second time clearly to reaffirm that Elias knows she's talking about him specifically, when Flare told Blaze before that Elias is her friend, not her pet?

Maybe, but I wouldn't say it was something considering how Blaze was clearly intentionally degradimg Elias and making sure he knows he's the one she's calling a pet even though Flare told Blaze that Elias is something much better than that in what I assume was a few hours ago. And I don't think they should listen to Blaze's warning considering Elias and Flare's pets are in danger in that place that any other dragon can easily access if Flare isn't there to protect them.

I think Blaze may be saying that to Elias just to preserve her family's reputation considering she said Rage having returned with those human mates brought shame to her family. I can't imagine her caring about Elias's life at all at this point and also Blaze may be taking advantage of the fact that Flare isn't awake to listen to the terrible way she's talking to poor Elias.

I think blaze is showing she cares in her own way, and I know Flare warned Elias that the crags wouldn’t be the most accepting of him but it must be harsh experiencing it first hand

DUDE, incredibly tense chapter....poor Elias. Always shit on, everywhere he goes....I know blaze looked concerned, but I think its only for her family's reputation. Nothing more. Seems like shes afraid of having her family even more disappointed in any way so shes making sure that ANY and all "embarrassments" (from a dragons POV) are hidden away.....gods it breaks my heart to see this happen to our cinnamon roll.....

Ignoring Blaze being a "See You Next Tuesday" I'm VERY impressed with red dragons regeneration ability. She's healing from a TERRIBLE burn without major scarring and her hair is even growing back.

Ooooof that was kinda rough. I know it seems harsh to all of us but gotta look at it from a dragon's perspective. Humans are the lowest and poor Elias is human. He may be intelligent and can speak their language but he's still human. Not sure if he'll ever get the chance to prove his worth other than to Flare. But that's what makes this comic awesome. Good with the bad. Plot building. Yes we all wanna see our boy finally get some fire booty cheeks, but we gotta be patient.

It's a mirror to humanity, all of these reactions exist(ed) towards interracial couples and vertical relationships, where one comes from a prestigious family and a "commoner". The best reaction so far in the Crags has been the master of the 5th Fang, who I don't know the name of.

A bit of both, she knows flare loves her pets and was willing to albeit reluctantly watch them whilst she secured a place to stay so I think that the warning to keep them hidden was for flare’s benefit more than the families

It requires going outside the comfort zone regularly until you develop a taste for it. In this case her comfort zone is only ever focusing on the family, outside of that would be focusing on herself and whatever whim enters her mind first.
