I missed our main duo so much! And well, the way Blaze sees Flare just having fun with a human like Elias as her having gone insane... I don't know whether to feel angry at her or sad since this is a result of the way she was raised by her father and grandfather who only care about being strong in combat.

Even if Elias doesn't have an idea for sealing this demonslug away at the moment, he's definitely great at pushing back against what everyone's throwing his way and lightening the mood. Good for morale. Might end up just getting him called a pet or mascot though, but also most pets would probably not be okay with potentially dying and be able to keep their cool, so Elias can at least assert his personhood from that angle. It's also nice to see Blaze get got with the snacks thing since it shows as much as she's trying to act like she doesn't care deep down she's starting to see the point of it all.
