Blaze likes it accurate and honest. Flare meanwhile is terrified of commitment and understands her own weaknesses. She wants to nurture and be her own dragon and establish herself, but confrontation is in some ways worse than commitment because if she's wrong about something or fails that confrontation she might end up having to do something she doesn't want anyway. Or maybe she just really loves her father despite everything and is more scared of disappointing him than rebelling. But for her, she doesn't want to be what her father wants, but she doesn't want to make him feel bad either.

Clan Wildfire’s logic won’t let Flare be multiple things. Rage got away with it by being demoted and basically ignored, but Flare is the Chieftain’s daughter and likely won’t get that “luxury”. At least not while she lives at the crags.

The thing is..Blaze isnt wrong here. She knows where she stands and what she's worth. Flare, she doesnt know what she wants. Its to the point where she's just so all over the place that she doesnt know who she is on the inside or what she wants.

Elias also needs to show that strength is in more than just muscle. He has the potential to forcibly humble reds through the power of his brains, he just needs to put his brainpower to work.

I think I've reread Sister Talk more than any other page. Not a single word is wasted and it is PACKED with so much of Blaze's and Flare's history and character.
