Hey there!

For a long time now I keep thinking about skins we have in game and on how other games deal with them. But I can't make up my mind if I want to change it or not, so I leave it up for you to decide.

At this moment when we change the skin, we change the look of entire cafe - Cafe, each of the maids and Sergil's look. This is the easiest way to deal with skins, but also less customization for the players.

What I could do is split this, so you would be able to separately change skin of each maid's , for example: we could have Summer skin for Cafe, Winter skin for Rai and Normal skin for Cookie. This change would be visible during gameplay, upgrade menu, title screen and preparation menu (end of day menu) at the same time. This will be harder to code but add more customization for the game and maybe even personal skins for maids, without themes.

Let me know what you think and which option do you prefer.

Poll will end in a week. (18.02)

Hey, Depends if it's only seasonal outfits then I don't think you should implement it yet, But if you plan in early future to add more outfits like bunny or slutty maid type then I say YES . You can also consider separate wardrobe for working in the cafe and in the "rooms" , amount of coding and additional CGs will be pain but it will probably bring game to new level. Assuming that outfits will be lewd enough :3

Yeah, if I'll change the way skins work I'll add another button in the Lockers where player will change the skins of each character.

The dev time it take to add such choice could be better spend elsewhere imo. Not to mention the future headaches if you want it all the way... char x is skin 1 char y is skin 2... ok i need spend time on 1 for char 1, 2 for char 2 and then reverse so 3x the time spend for an anim than one time.. Other than if it gets "layered" but even then again its more work than do it once... so IMO... evcen when it would be nifty - Spend the dev time on the core game rather than "fluff"

It does seem like an option that would be nice to have, but I feel like it adds too little considering the effort. Maybe put a pin in it for now and see if it seems like a good idea in a couple of weeks? My spidey-sense is telling me there might be some serious dangers lurking underneath this change... even if you decide to work on this don't hesitate to cut your losses if it turns out to be bigger than its worth.

I like the concept of having individualized costumes *if* you ever do stand alone costumes. Because right now, costumes are more thematic and seasonal so it's very wide reaching. I'd say let's talk about it more with the other folks at a dev stream later on :D

I kinda want to say both. I love how theme cafe and the girls will follow suit. However, seems like people want that twintail Rai chinese suit! Plus sounds like a nightmare to do, but doing it now would save you the hassle of converting the Halloween Skin from old system to new system if it wins. I'd save it for the DLC - I mean, sequel.
