Hello, everyone!

I hope you've all had a chance to dive into the latest update for My Fluffy Neighbor! There was a ton of new content packed in there, and hopefully most of you have had time to explore it all by now :)

As always, I'd love to hear your thoughts on the update. How did you find it? What were your favorite moments or additions? And of course, what areas do you think could use improvement going forward? I made a conscious shift back toward giving players more agency through the bulletin board system, which I feel provides a nice in-game justification for tackling events in whatever order you prefer.

I'm also curious to hear your thoughts on the Tavern minigame – it took quite a bit of time to code and design, so I want to know if it was worth it. I know it's fairly simple, but I'm hoping it added some fun variety to the experience. Let me know if you'd like to see more simple minigames in future updates.

I have explored a little bit of it, but I'm deliberately pacing myself. The writing is too good, the world-building is too immersive, to just blast through it all in one sitting. Within ten minutes of starting the game for the first time, this became my favorite game, and I immediately had to become a Patreon supporter of it. I'm loving it!

Pros: I enjoyed the story build up of this one! I like the way it kind of teases you through each characters style of flirtation. The House scenes sounds are pretty top notch as well. Over all I enjoy the art style as its almost similar to some of my favorite H artists. Cons: I understand why it was a plot element to have lily allow out MC to pursue a sort of "open" relationship but for someone that just took her virginity it feels odd she would give him up that easily so that other H scenes can take place without story/relationship conflicting with itself. Besides that I was super excited to hear about the femboy character Morgan being released as I enjoy anal intercourse in these types of scenarios... its rather rare. I didn't think just him smacking and jacking his tallywacker would count as a full H scene. I dont mean to sound unappreciative, I just have come to expect length of the H scenes to match ones from the past and was expecting to have a "morning after" scenes after lily and the MC's date night. Overall I am still loving the series. Don't let anything stop you and keep pushing!

To be honest I actually like the changes that have been made. The mini game itself was a nice change as well, and I personally would not mind seeing more of these games but not in every update. I also would love to see an update where one of the mini games is purposely impossible to win, thus leading to a scene

Thanks for all the feedback, and I'm glad you enjoyed the update! Yes, I do agree that it might have been slightly off to make the relationship open between Lily and MC. However, I realized I had to eventually pull of the bandaid and make it so Lily knows and is okay with MC seeing other people. I agree from your standpoint, and I probably could have handled it better, but I think it was better to get it out of the way now before more escalation between different characters. Also, regarding the Morgan scene, I am so sorry that you thought it wasn't long enough! I didn't want to create a full-fledged scene just yet after meeting him for the first time, so this was my compromise that 'made sense', although I can see how it may have been misleading to label it an 'H-scene' when the others have been a lot more detailed. Again, apologies, and I will try to make it up in the next update. Actually, you were right that a morning-after scene was planned originally, but with the long development cycle I ended up scrapping it so I can push out the game quicker. Don't worry, the morning after-scene will kick off the next update ;) Again, thanks for all the good feedback, super super helpful as usual!

I'd like to suggest a plot for a new update. The idea is that the bunny girl has a teacher, and he is a wizard. I think the teacher could be (Naga), but it doesn't have to be her. She brings Oakridge to meet the main character. She conducts experiments on the main character, and during these experiments, it's discovered that the main character has a talent for magic. The magic teacher decides to take him on as an apprentice so he doesn't get into trouble, because there aren't many creatures who use magic. Thanks to this, the plot can be further developed with the existing characters. For example, during his training, he could learn to hypnotize someone, become invisible, or change his physique. He could, for instance, increase his muscles or change the size of his "tool" (I'm talking about the one between his legs), or even become a girl. This would allow us to extend the plot with the cat boy.

Just throwing it out there, but have you considered making it a cultural thing for the Anthro's? One of the things I appreciated about the world so far is the correlation of the Anthro intricacies with their animal counter parts. You could easily write in open relationships as being the cultural norm for most Anthros since mating for life is uncommon for most animals. Dogs like Lily, though pack animals, are no exception. As it stands Roxie is the one Anthro introduced that would have the potential of mating for life depending if she's a mouse or rat. (I'm assuming rat based off of her brother Grease, but her character is much more mouse like.) Just a thought and wouldn't be hard to have Lily explain that in the morning to ensure he's okay with the open relationship without back tracking on the story.

Wow, this is actually a super well thought out and smart suggestion. I think this will be my explanation going forward, very well thought out! Thank you :)

Overall excellent update I think. Even Opting out of Morgan's story It felt a good length. I agree with Bladed arms with the over consensus on the mini game. Definitely a nice little surprise and would be welcome occasional addition. My favorite addition was actually the focused spot for the fashion show. That was also a surprise and very creative/unique. If it's not to much effort I would consider burring out the background instead of blacking it out if you use it again. I think that would emphasizes the focusing of the eyes. Of course using it as a peep hole in the future would also be fantastic. Cons or improvement wise I'd definitely suggest a little more variety with the food selection. As much as I love bread the lunch menu was very bread forward. I did get a kick out of what seemed to be roast ham in the tavern kitchen though. Also it was probably the stark difference in the descriptions between the tavern lunch time rush and the OXO shop, but I did fell the emptiness with the scenery this update. Perhaps sprinkling in some low detail silhouette like/generic Anthros in the background would make the village feel a bit more lively without much effort. Keep up the good work. You're killing it! P.S. Actually while checking my self on the comments I did notice the background noise for the tavern, then compared that scene with the market scene with Daisy which felt more full. I think that may also be why it felt emptier this time. The mumbling and chatter of the market scene background helped it feel more lively. Conversely the background sound used in the tavern is quieter and is more general outdoor noise then chatter. You can pretty much only make out the chicken and the banging with the music equalized with sound.

Loved the update! Love Morgan's character and hope to see more characters like him. And I really enjoyed the tavern mini game; I always enjoy a break every now and again.

This was my first playthrough and I can say it's a lovely game. For the final part of this update: It was nice to see Lily not contradicting herself by stopping the MC from seeing other people as she said herself at the beginning that, as a community, every anthro is different and they coexist knowing that ( for example Hazel and the bunnies are extremely open when it comes to relationships ). Also nice to see that this was solved early to avoid the usual (and annoying ) trope of piling up lies that cause major drama when they eventually find out. On this topic. As I understood we'll be able, in the future, to roam the village and progress the stories of the other anthros ( and probaly not anthros like Bree ) that we encountered so far ( I think this will happen as they say " feel free to pass other times" ), could this lead to multiple romances? For example: We help Roxy in her dream to become a new fashion brand and, after being presented with multiple choices, she ends up dropping the bratty act and opens up, showing genuine interest. Will this be an auto-dead-end with us rejecting her for Lily or this could open up with Lily accepting her love for the MC with the condition that she'll be the main wife? This can help the game being replayable as you'll be able to explore various routes ( focus only on Lily, the adventure couple with Amber etc..) If we'll be able to have other romances with the other heroines I have only one advice: Please don't go for the "gonna catch them all" route. I think, as Lily is the main one and she shouldn't be overshadowed, that the best scenario is Lily + 1 ( or Lily +2 at max ). This way you can increase the replayability of the game without going over the top. P.S.: If this question will end up revealing major spoilers for the game feel free to just drop a hit or not answer, I'm mostly happy to have found this game and I'm curious to see how it can evolve.

Hi, thanks for the feedback :) Currently, I plan on making the main romantic and usual relationship stuff just between Lily and MC (after all, the game is named after Lily and she is the main love interest). This means although there may be side quests and scenes with other characters, it won't get deep enough into the fully romantic and 'dating' level. Hope that makes sense :) (and of course, it might change in the future)

Hi, thanks for all the great feedback again, Forge! I'm glad you enjoyed Morgan's character despite opting out of a relationship, which makes me feel good about how I handled it. Yes I did worry about the backgrounds feeling empty despite describing them as super large, and in the future I may add generic anthros in crowded areas. Great suggestion as usual!
