Important Development News: Poll + Animation Preview + Where I've Been (Patreon)

Hey everyone. It's been a while since I posted, and I owe you all a sincere apology for disappearing for an entire month. I know that's a long time to go silent, and I understand how frustrating that must be. You've all shown incredible patience and support for this project, and you deserve better communication. I'm sorry.

The reason for my absence is because, as you all know, we're in the middle of animating every single H-scene in the game, plus a few additional non-NSFW scenes. That's a massive undertaking when you consider how much content My Fluffy Neighbor already contains.

As a result, I haven't worked on any new story content, so there hasn't been much to show you guys. I have been 100% focused on animations. I understand that's not an excuse for not communicating, and I apologize for that. You should have heard from me regularly even if the updates were just about animations.

This silence brings me to something important I need to discuss with all of you, and I need your honest feedback.

My original vision was to release v2.0.0 with the complete GUI overhaul, all the new animations integrated throughout the entire game, and brand new story content for the summer bash celebration. However, if I attempt to complete all three simultaneously, we're realistically looking at a release somewhere in December.As a full-time student balancing school, developing new content, implementing animations, managing family responsibilities, my original timeline isn't sustainable.

Instead of waiting for the complete v2.0.0, would you be comfortable with the next update being an animation and GUI overhaul update exclusively?

This update would completely transform the quality of life in the game and showcase all the animation work we've completed so far. You'd get to experience the entire game fresh with these new visuals and adjust to the new GUI design. Crucially, this gives me the breathing room to create substantial new story content for 2.0.0 that deserves proper attention and care.

If the community agrees, this would release as v1.9.2 and hopefully come out before the end of October. I've included previews of some of our completed animations so you can see exactly what level of quality we're delivering:

I understand that I've apologized frequently throughout this project's development, and I know that might sound hollow by now. But I want you to know that I only apologize this much because you genuinely deserve it. Without your support, your patience, and your belief in this project, I wouldn't be able to pursue My Fluffy Neighbor while managing school and everything else in my life. You've made this possible, and I don't take that lightly.
