Does lucrim follow the Law of Conversation of Energy? If so, I wonder what Emily's soul-flame converts it into.

sarahlin

There's Conservation of Energy on a deep level, though it's not always clear to average people. Your question's not wrong, though.

Zeal Iskander

Can his sister even survive 250k? That seems rather unlikely, given that she doesn't have nearly as much training as her brother... Maybe something about her soul-flame would make her able to resist it? hmm...

Drew Allan Coon

sarahlin

It would be unhealthy for most people, but yes, she's a special case due to her condition.

sarahlin

Thanks, that's encouraging to hear! The story is focused on the development of his power, but I tried to include some other kinds of development as well.

Runcible Technician

It's the eye of the tiger, it's the thrill of the fight... *sigh* The crushing poverty is too real sometimes, need to remind myself that wuxia fights are awesome and good stories take buildup.

Dragon723

Sounds like the flame burns through a lot of lucrim, but also attracts it and make it easier to process. Could the semi-solid shell turn the void flame into an advantage rather than a disability?
