Glad you liked it. Not so much a dig at the usual trope as trying to make the modern feel more than skin deep. I have some ideas for different takes on body reforging and similar tropes, but those are a ways off.

Honestly, it's very refreshing to see a cultivation story set in the modern age, and I think you did a wonderful job dancing around many of the tropes of the genre. Keep up the good work!
