One thing about the first book that dissatisfied me a bit was that many of the fights had similar fundamental setups. Now that Rick isn't tied to the Underground, I wanted to include some diversity, and these chapters get into that.

Delsin is easily becoming a favorite quickly in my mind. Is he fun to write? Hopefully you can keep his sense of humor distinct from his sister (currently it is, but they both achieve humor from sarcasm)

Delsin is definitely fun to write, so I'm glad you enjoy him. ^-^ I have in mind a difference in the spirit of their sarcasm, but we'll see if that comes through.
