New model ready + successfully transferred my old characters into Blender. (Patreon)

Hey everyone, I spent around 50 hours and can finally say that I’ve more or less learned how to properly transfer my old characters into Blender for full animation. Originally, I planned to just make an animation with Alcina Dimitrescu, but none of the existing models fully satisfied me. Even though some were pretty good, the lack of the specific morphs I needed (and other issues) kept bothering me. So I finally decided to take matters into my own hands and figure out how to port my own characters. As for Alcina, I will definitely make an animation with her sooner or later. But now that my hands are basically untied, I’ve decided to use Mavis as a test project. For the male character in the Mavis animation, I’ll use a ready-made model instead of porting my own, since I’m not yet confident with transferring male characters and don’t want to spend a ton of extra time on it right now. What’s left for me now is to rig the belly. This time I’m going to animate the belly using the rig because the breast and belly shapes are quite extreme — cloth simulation physics would break heavily, and I don’t want to waste most of my time fixing it. For the breasts, I’m not 100% sure yet — I’ll probably do them with cloth simulation like before, but I haven’t decided. The butt will definitely be done with cloth simulation. Setting all this up + transferring the environment should take 1–2 days, and then I’ll start animating. The animation itself will be quite short but packed with the most interesting moments right away, and I’m also going to do a fluid simulation. If everything goes according to plan, it should be ready in about 7 days. That’s the current situation!
