Devlog #5 - Mystic Lust - 0.5.0 early access is already available for Arcane Apprentice! (Patreon)

Hello everyone,

Just a quick update to let you know that early access is now available for all members, and it will be released to the general public very soon.

For today’s devlog, I made significant progress on what I mentioned in the last update. We now have a new system that allows you to farm Lust points with characters. It’s not implemented for everyone yet, but the three main characters will be partially available in the next update.

The minigame follows a fairly classic design: there are two bars, one representing the MC’s orgasm timing and the other representing the character you’re interacting with.

If you finish your bar too early while her bar is still below 50%, you won’t receive Lust points from that character.

On top of that, each character now has a new preference system. They can become “addicted” to certain actions. There are three base actions: oral, vaginal, and anal. Depending on the actions you choose during the minigame, the character will react differently when you interact with her later.

Keep in mind that each level requires reaching a new Lust threshold, but to avoid making the process feel repetitive or grindy, I’m introducing new potions to speed things up. For now, there are three of them:

Essence Potion:

Restores Essence without needing to rest.

Lust Potion:

Increases the speed at which the NPC’s Lust bar fills.

Resistance Potion:

Reduces the amount of points gained per second on the MC’s bar.

With these changes, my goal is to bring better balance to the game. I also plan to make more use of the existing combat minigame and possibly add new enemies and items that appear on the map at specific times of the day.

Additionally, the exclusive artworks are finished and will be posted on Thursday, December 25th.

On December 27th, the update will be released to the public. I’ll take some time to review bug reports, and on December 29th, I’ll create a poll here so you can vote for the final character of this update. Keep in mind that Rose and Richard have already been worked on (I heard that Richard sleeps heavily after he’s had a few drinks).  Let me know if there’s anyone you’d like to see included in the poll!
