The Weekly Report #128 (Patreon)
Content
Hello dear Utopians,
It's Friday, and time to review the advancements made this week!
💠AKOKAN ISLAND
🔰Vieux-Habitants
Work is progressing apace on Vieux-Habitants, the town in the south of the island that is gradually becoming a real center of life on Akokan Island. This week, I've been working mainly on the town center, laying the foundations for several streets and beginning to structure the general layout of the area.
One of the most notable advances of the last few days is the addition of a supermarket, which will reinforce the realistic and functional aspect of the town. This type of establishment is essential for bringing environments to life and offering interesting gameplay deliveries. Added to this are a number of new streets, beginning to give Vieux-Habitants a clearer identity.
Little by little, the city is taking shape, and I'm looking forward to continuing its development over the coming weeks. As always, I invite you to discover the first images of this growing town in the post's gallery!
💠MORE AMERICAN CITIES
🔰California
While the Utah edition of More American Cities is now complete and available, this week I resumed work on the final update for the California edition. The aim of this final version is to activate a final batch of cities, 11 in all, which will complete the entire state.
I started with Beaumont, a city that proved particularly time-consuming to activate, requiring no less than five hours of work. Beaumont is a key gateway between Los Angeles and Palm Springs, offering modern infrastructure and an attractive economic dynamic for carriers.
Three other cities were also activated:
Brawley : Located in the Imperial Valley, Brawley is a major agricultural center, renowned for its vegetable and livestock production. Its activation will enhance the diversity of transportable agricultural cargoes in this area.
Carlsbad : A charming coastal town north of San Diego, Carlsbad is a major residential and tourist hub, with a variety of facilities to enhance the driving experience along the California coastline.
Desert Center : Desert Center is a small, isolated town in the heart of the Californian desert, an ideal rest and refueling point for truckers crossing the vast, arid expanses of the southern part of the state.
There are still several cities to activate before this update can be finalized, but work is progressing well. The aim is to offer a complete and optimized California, while correcting a few bugs that have come to my attention, such as an invisible wall in San Luis Obispo and a spelling error in Borrego Springs.

🔰Mapping Timelapse #19
Earlier this week, a new Mapping Timelapse video was published on my channel. This 19th episode immerses you in the design of a residential neighborhood in Vieux-Habitants, on Akokan Island. We follow the construction of several houses in timelapse, illustrating the various stages involved in creating a realistic, immersive environment in the editor.
As always, take a look at this video to see how the work is progressing in real time and, of course, leave your impressions in the comments section.aire !

Le Rapport Hebdomadaire #128
Bonjour chers Utopiens,
💠MORE AMERICAN CITIES
🔰California
