Dear Utopians,

It's the heart of the 1960s. Port Oxheller is undergoing a major transformation. While the historic quays still quiver with the passage of the ferries and freighters of yesteryear, the shovels are busy further south: a new industrial port is being built. Larger, more modern, more ambitious. At the helm: Oxheller Dockworks, the company behind Lochburn's maritime infrastructure.

To accompany this historic shift, the company's management decided to revamp its visual identity. A way of marking this new era, without forgetting its roots.

Three artists answered the call. Three visions. Three styles. But only one will become the company's official emblem for decades to come.

1️⃣ Option 1 — proposed by Jim

An illustrative logo in a neat, retro style. A cargo ship takes center stage, powerfully cutting through the waves, framed by cranes and a skyline reminiscent of Port Oxheller harbor. The soft contrast of hues lends an almost cinematic dimension, like a scene frozen in time. The whole breathes the working-class memory and historic sturdiness of the docks.

2️⃣ Option 2 — proposed byL7CFox

A clean, dynamic and structured composition. Crane, ship, factory: the three pillars of the port economy are brought together in an assertive geometric frame. The ochre and navy color scheme gives the logo the air of an institutional, robust and official sign, as if it had been around for decades. It evokes order, productivity and industrial identity.

3️⃣ Option 3 — proposed by Seb

A modern, almost international logo, with perfect symmetry and bold blue tones. The stylized cargo ship evokes the fluidity of maritime trade, with two anchors representing local anchorage and projection into the future. Less narrative but highly legible, this logo aims for efficiency and visual universality.

Your vote is not insignificant. It will mark the containers, uniforms, access signs and official documents of Oxheller Dockworks. It will be part of the port décor, seen by all visitors arriving by land and sea.

Conseil Consultatif – Oxheller Dockworks

Chers Utopiens,

🗳️ Faites entendre votre voix
