📜Adivsory Council #7 — Two roads, one decision: vote for the next GUOA expansion! (Patreon)

Hello dear Utopians,

For the next stage of development of Grand Utopia of America, I would like to invite you to participate in an important decision: in which direction should the map expand next?

Two possibilities currently present themselves in Lochburn County, each with its own interest in terms of gameplay, exploration and construction of the territory.

As often, I prefer to involve you directly in this choice so that the development of GUOA remains a shared project with the community that supports it.

Here are the two possible options:

🌊 Option A — Heading to Clearfog Harbor

This option would involve developing the northern part of the county, toward Clearfog Harbor.

It would notably include the creation of Lochburn County Road 4, a coastal road running along Belden Island from the north. This route would offer a panoramic route with a view of the ocean and would gradually open up this part of the territory.

With this option, it is also possible that the town of Clearfog Harbor would be fully realized, which would add a new coastal town and maritime activity area to the county.

🏙️ Option B — Heading to Lochburn City

The second possibility would be to expand the map towards the county seat: Lochburn City.

In this case, the extension would involve the extension of GU 66, which would gradually connect the city to the rest of the road network.

However, it should be borne in mind that Lochburn City is planned as a fairly large town, as it represents the regional capital of the county. If this option is chosen, it is therefore likely that only a small part of the city will be completed initially, with the rest being developed in subsequent updates.

📜Conseil consultatif #7 — Deux routes, une décision : votez pour la prochaine extension de GUOA !

Bonjour chers utopiens,

Pour la prochaine étape de développement de Grand Utopia of America, j’aimerais vous proposer de participer à une décision importante : dans quelle direction la carte doit-elle s’étendre ensuite ?

Deux possibilités se présentent actuellement dans le comté de Lochburn, chacune avec son intérêt en termes de gameplay, d’exploration et de construction du territoire.

Comme souvent, je préfère vous impliquer directement dans ce choix afin que le développement de GUOA reste un projet partagé avec la communauté qui le soutient.

Voici les deux options possibles :

🌊 Option A — En direction de Clearfog Harbor

Cette option consisterait à développer la partie nord du comté, en direction de Clearfog Harbor.

Elle inclurait notamment la création de la Lochburn County Road 4, une route côtière longeant Belden Island par le nord. Ce tracé offrirait une route panoramique avec vue sur l’océan et permettrait d’ouvrir progressivement cette partie du territoire.

Avec cette option, il est également possible que la ville de Clearfog Harbor soit entièrement réalisée, ce qui ajouterait une nouvelle ville côtière et une nouvelle zone d’activité maritime dans le comté.

🏙️ Option B — En direction de Lochburn City

La seconde possibilité serait de développer la carte vers le siège du comté : Lochburn City.

Dans ce cas, l’extension passerait par la prolongation de la GU 66, qui viendrait connecter progressivement la ville au reste du réseau routier.

Cependant, il faut garder à l’esprit que Lochburn City est prévue comme une ville assez vaste, puisqu’elle représente la capitale régionale du comté. Si cette option est choisie, il est donc probable que seule une petite partie de la ville soit réalisée dans un premier temps, le reste étant développé lors de mises à jour suivantes.
