Hello dear Utopians! 👋

The recent ETS2 1.61 update from SCS Software unfortunately broke a definition file linked to a custom sign we had added to Grand Utopia. As a result, all directional road signs are showing a display bug and no longer display any text. 😅

We know that can be a bit disorienting mid-drive, so we've put together a quick temporary fix to sort this out while we work on the next official update.

Huge thanks to Georges93, from the Ile de France map, who tracked down the cause of the problem. Without him, we'd probably still be scratching our heads over this bug!

📌 How to install it

Just place the fix above the Grand Utopia mod in your mod manager, and you're good to go.

⏳ How long you'll need it

This fix is meant to hold until Grand Utopia 1.20d releases, planned for October 1st. Once that update is out, the fix will be obsolete and you can safely remove it.

Thanks so much for your patience, and sorry for the little hiccup! 🙏 These things happen sometimes when SCS updates the game, but we always keep an eye out to react fast.

📜#41 — 🚧 Fix temporaire pour Grand Utopia 1.20c sous ETS2 1.61

Salutations chers Utopiens ! 👋

La récente mise à jour d'ETS2 en version 1.61 par SCS Software a malheureusement cassé un fichier de définition lié à un panneau custom que nous avions ajouté à Grand Utopia. Résultat : un bug d'affichage général sur tous les panneaux routiers directionnels, qui n'affichent plus aucun texte. 😅

On sait que ça peut être perturbant en pleine route, donc on a préparé un petit fix temporaire pour corriger ça rapidement, en attendant la prochaine mise à jour officielle.

Un immense merci à Georges93, de la map Ile de France, qui a mis le doigt sur la cause du problème. Sans lui, on aurait sans doute mis plus de temps à comprendre d'où venait le bug !

📌 Comment l'installer

Placez le fix au-dessus du mod Grand Utopia dans votre gestionnaire de mods, et le tour est joué.

⏳ Durée de vie du fix

Ce correctif est prévu pour durer jusqu'à la sortie de la version 1.20d de Grand Utopia, prévue pour le 1er octobre. Une fois cette mise à jour publiée, le fix sera obsolète et vous pourrez le supprimer tranquillement.
