Version 6.4 The version is compatible with the latest updates

1. Reduced autonomy for sausage, ham, chocolate and bread. Now Sims prefer normal food more

2. Added support for new recipes from S&S and other authors in the refrigerator menu

3. Horses can be fed fruit again

Version 6.1 Added Chinese translation from Meli and support for future S&S content, fixed missing Brazenlotus recipes, fixed the link to the Portuguese/Br translation from NatiSims

Added📗:

🌟 Self-service checkout is a functional animated object for the store. Purchase of all products without delivery

Compatible with the base game

Find in the category: Electronics - Miscellaneous and on any lot Retail and Marketplace

Click on the checkout and select the desired products. Next, the sim will make a purchase with a payment animation and the products will be added to the luggage

Since EA fruits, vegetables, berries and greens have been removed from delivery for faster mod operation, we have added:

frozen packages with vegetables, fruits, berries, herbs and mushrooms (counted in recipes in their category)

fermented milk drinks - fermented baked milk (ryazhenka) and kefir (drunk directly from the package)

salmon (counted in recipes as any fish)

IF YOU HAVE USED VERSION 5 BEFORE, JUST DELETE IT COMPLETELY, CLEAN THE GAME CACHE AND INSTALL VERSION 6

❗❗Files "Any Ingredient" Cooking Tags Resource and XML Injector от SCUMBUMBO are needed for the mod to work

Install the file "[SS] EA OverrideMenu_Hide" only if you want to hide extra menus on the refrigerator, such as: baking, cooking, delivery and more. This raised a lot of questions for you, so we decided to separate it from the main mod. You can read more about what is hidden and why in the description of version 2 here

If you use the LittleMsSam mod "Ask to cook" - do not install the Menu_Hide file, as they are incompatible

IF YOU ARE DOWNLOADING THE MOD FOR THE FIRST TIME👇

👉🏻Download the zip-file and unzip it to your "Mods" folder

👉🏻Download "Any Ingredient" Cooking Tags Resource and unpack to your "Mods" folder

👉🏻Download XML Injector от SCUMBUMBO and unpack to your "Mods" folder

❗❗In two folders named "EA Override xx_Additions", delete those game add-ons that you do not have. They now have a name to make it easier for you to find them. If you have all the Sims 4 add-ons, you don't need to delete anything

👉🏻Make sure that Scripting mods are enabled in the game settings

WOW! I love this new feature! Quick question, I currently use your recipes without the realistic mod. If I want to install the realistic mod now, do I have to delete the recipes I currently have of yours (because I used EA not custom versions) and then download the custom versions of the recipes? Im thinking the answer is yes but I wanna double check.

you can continue to use the recipes in the EA version, but then the products from the mod will not be visible in the recipes. If you want the best experience from culinary mod, it's better to install the custom version

I have a quick question. I double checked the installation instructions before bugging you. I downloaded the menu override but for some reason, I still have the EA menus on the fridge and stove. Both are cc appliances so I was wondering if this works on custom fridges and stoves? If it does, is there another reason the EA menus still show up? I have Any Ingredient and XML Injector (most recent versions). I cleared my cache and everything but the EA menu is still there. Thank you!

this mod does not replace the cookbook, maybe you just deleted it?

Check that you have installed the mod script. File XML Injector от SCUMBUMBO is responsible for this. It must be installed in the main folder "Mods" or a maximum of 1 subfolder, otherwise it will not work! And also check that you have script mods enabled in the settings of the game itself

Thanks for getting back to me so quickly. I do have XML Injector installed in the main mods folder (not even in a subfolder) and I have script mods enabled. I use quite a few script mods and all of those are working fine in my game now. I'm really stumped as to what it could be. Just to confirm, the menu override works on cc appliances, correct? Sorry for the back and forth! I truly did try everything I could think of before reaching out. I know creators get asked a lot of questions that a lot of times could have been solved in the user had simply read the instructions.

And I also don't have LittleMissSam's Ask to Cook mod. I triple checked to make sure that wasn't in my mods folder since it conflicts with the menu hider.

yes, the menu should work the same as before, both on EA refrigerators and on CC

Yeah it's not working on any refrigerators. I tried EA ones and custom and it's not showing up. I am really at a loss. Scripts are enabled, XML Injector is installed (and it's right in the main mods folder, not in a subfolder). I even did a search of my entire mods folder and removed any script mod that had something to do with the menus on appliances. So I have no idea what I'm missing or what I possibly did wrong.

the mod itself is installed deep in your folders? Probably the game does not see the settings for some reason

Thanks for the quick reply, i usually dont have a delay when using your mods so im thinking it could be because of the way i updated the file. I copied and replaced instead of deleting the old one completely. Just going to do another test and see if that improves it 🙂

If everything was in order earlier, then I recommend not replacing the files, namely deleting and installing new ones, since they can unite inside and give errors.

So think i've worked it out, i even tested version 6.0 just to be sure. What i've just noticed (possibly never noticed before) is that there is a delay when selecting from the actual 'SS Cookbook' object. However when selecting from the fridge there isn't a delay :-)

Hey, I love this, especially the self-checkout. When a child clicks on grab a snack for some reason, the game freezes.

I have checked all the menus related to the toddlers and they are fine. Specify which menu you have freezes and are you sure that this is due to the mod, and not something else?

i keep getting an exception with your mod. it says single ingredient decaynoedible_jar and mentioning internal state reset and that is has bad tuning. cause: buildbuy. and will result in partially reset object because object has no attribute. happens everytime in placing food items in buildbuy

When it comes to simple living I buy numerous bags of herbs and fruit and it still says I don’t have it. I’ve brought 30 bags of these products and it doesn’t register. Even with the meat & eggs.

Yes I open everything that can be opened. But the bags of fruits, vegetable and herbs won’t open so I just put them in the fridge but the dishes are still greyed out. Also with salmon. I purchased 3 packs of salmon but it doesn’t register it. I had to buy the actual fish and fruit for it to take.

Salmon can only be counted in the category "Any fish", fruit as "Any fruit", etc

I hope this doesn’t come off annoying but in the future will you be adding other grocery contents like bags of potato’s, avocados, bags of onions, spinach, lettuce etc. I find myself buying these separately from your mod when cooking on simple living.

Hi! Thanks for the suggestions. Unfortunately, we can't add new products to this mod yet, as it causes problems with the game hanging. We need to wait for the developers to fix the screen freeze when opening the selection screen

Maybe I am the problem but anytime I try to unpacked the frozen fruit it won't do it. And it doesn't count me as having them if I don't unpack.

I can't give an exact answer since I don't see how you have the files installed. I recommend removing the mod completely, cleaning the cache of the game and installing it again, clearly following the instruction in this publication

I don't think this compatible with the latest update for the Enchanted pack. When I scanned my mods folder, it said to remove this mod. Looking forward to an update if possible! :)
