I dont think its the same as Killing the guy in the bar since they were gonna kill us anyway now in the barns its more like an execution and not really precaution and i dont think Apocalypse is a reason to loose your humanity i wont say more since i already watch all the season and episode but i hope you watch it all and like it ah and you cant believe in god and think that the way is to kill even in the Apocalypse and rip dale one of my favorite character and probably the more human even if there is a lot of other character like him later in the show love your reaction

Def see your perspective! The Randall debate still has me conflicted... that's such a complicated choice. Im honestly really happy the show adds scenes like that because omg it really gets you thinking! (and i feel like it shows peoples true character!) Thanks for sharing! (RIP DALE IM SO SADDD)

That's what makes the show great. All the situations/decisions are really messy, and there's rarely a "correct" answer or way to do things.

I like dale but he’s to weak for this world. They should have killed him cause they couldn’t trust him

I feel like a lot of people either side with Rick or Shane exclusively whereas you seem to kind of flip flop between the two. I think it demonstrates how good of a job the show does at blurring the line between right and wrong in this world. Great reaction! I always feel the need to side with Dale because without humanity, what do these people really have left? Losing him was devastating.

Yes!! That's something I'm loving about this show is all the characters are right? in a way? It leads to really complicated conversations and moral dilemmas and I love ittt!

Nah, what Dale said was right. Killing someone just because you can't think of what else to do with him or to prevent a crime that he may never even commit is just wrong. Where do you draw the line? Do you kill someone because they aren't providing for the group? Do you kill people who you think are weak members of the group? Because if we follow the logic that its a risk to the group to let Randall go, then its also a risk to the group to allow weak members. Once you go down the road of executing people, then you dont stop. Also not so fun fact: Dale lives a lot longer in the comics. The only reason he died here was because AMC screwed over showrunner Frank Darabont and fired him, which caused Dales actor to leave the show out of protest.

Killing him because he isn't one of the group means basically everyone left on Earth who aren't the 14 people currently living at the farm are on the kill list. Anyone they meet could potentially be a threat. And by this logic any group they meet larger than them should just "merk" our group for their own safety.
