In Dany’s defense.. we know Tyrion much more than Dany..Tyrion is still a Lannister who remains very close to Jaime.. KOTSK might really have spoilers.. but if you want to build your YT channel more, a new GOT show is perfect. Quite a conundrum

raine

ahh im so excited for u to start hotd!!

Rory

Thanks for getting these out so quickly!

Dresdon

Youre already watching the show thats the most forward in time so i would think its fine to watch Knight of the seven kingdoms. Maybe have a mod watch every episode first to make sure theres no crazy HOTD spoilers but i cant imagine they would wanna throw that kinda stuff in while HOTD still has 2 seasons left

Dae

100% certain that they’ll make HOTD references

Kimbjee

A couple of things, we saw wights brought back from past the wall in season 1, when Jon and Sam found dead nights watchmen, brought them back to Castle Black and they came back to life as wights. Uncle Benjen's comments about magic and the wall were in reference to the white walkers. Its totally reasonable to forget these moments, but this is probably the downside to skipping the recap. With respect to AKOTSK, I personally don't think there will be spoilers for HOTD, because they have two seasons left so wouldn't want to spoil what happens for non-book readers. When they were making GOT, when they had the scenes of Joffrey talking about what happens in AKOTSK and HOTD, they probably didn't realise they were going to be making spin off shows at the time so just threw the references in their as an Easter Egg for fans of the books. Unlikely to do that now that the spin offs are currently being produced.

Dae

I feel like when she’s watching, she’s trying to figure out the parts that people complain about due to people crying about later seasons

Arya and Sansa never got along so there being awkwardness and tension between them now isn't surprising, especially considering years have passed and they both have grown into different women at this point. They don't know each other and are judging one another based on how they behaved when they last saw each other as children (Sansa wanting to be a queen and living a life of luxury, Arya being rambunctious and akin to violence). In addition to all of that, Littlefinger is a crafty slippy snake, so it's not surprising one would feel suspicious of him.

Cat Indigo

I'm just mad that Bran hasn't pored one out for Hodor.

The way your mind works is so cool. You can tell you really enjoy reading books the way you go about filling in plot holes and connecting events. The look on your face when you clocked the annulment entries was priceless. It’s a real dilemma with HOTD and KOTSK. I think they will be careful of spoilers, but it will be challenging to tell the story without them. As for the side quest, like someone mentioned below, Wights have been brought south before. It’s also hard to know what effect Bran’s mark has on the magic in the wall. You were correct, that is a war hammer that Gendry uses. It’s similar to the weapon that Robert used to kill Rhaegar. I thought that was some nice symmetry.

Licha I am down for you to rewrite the way this all ends 😂 lets hear your ideas

IcySystem

I think she's complaining about the parts, that don't make sense to her or feel poorly written. I think her takes are rock solid here. Even when she is "wrong", because she doesn't have all the information, I get where she is coming from.

IcySystem

All your confusions and negative points will make sense when you're done with the show. I promise. 😂 I'll pose you a riddle. I promise it's not a spoiler. They remind me of Dungeons and Dragons, but it's not about either.

IcySystem

I think it's fine either way with HotD and AKOTSK. Both are prequels to GoT. You'll get a few references perhaps, but they won't spoil the ending or big events of HotD in AKOTSK obviously. For a reaction channel it can be fun to go in blind and get surprised by stuff the fandom knows for 27 years. But maybe it's even better if you recognize more of the cross-references? At the end of the day it's your unique journey and it might be cool for you and the fans if you dive deeper and deeper into the content. To give an example, Spartan and Pudgey's YT channel got big because they were one of the only channels that went for HotD first. They had titles like: We've NEVER Watched GoT! GoT afterwards was a huge success for them. It probably doesn't matter what you do. Some people will always be mad, but as long as you are you, it'll be fine :)

There are White Walkers and the Army of the Dead. The White Walkers can’t go past the Wall.

Licha: “and she’s vile……..still love you Cersei.” Love it!

Jr

Cersei arrogantly bragging on knowing everything in her city, Licha rolling her eyes as if she was disgusted then immediately smiling because she loves Cersei’s arrogance. Priceless!!! I absolutely love Cersei and it’s so fun watching someone else love her character as well.

Licha Reacts!

I told my mod today that I'm so excited to read the books and re-write this story for us.... 😂😂

IcySystem

Can you elaborate, why you think that? I'm curious. In S4 E10 we learn, that the Skeletons (army of the dead/wights) fall to pieces when they try to enter. When Bran got marked, the white walkers AND the wights could enter the cave beneath the tree.

Jordan Clark

We’ll probably all have to do that if George doesn’t hurry up and release the final 2 books. I’ve been itching for them for 15 years now

Carter Allison

I would watch HOTD first as there could be mentions about it in the new show

I completely understand you re confusion about Danny.I feel exactly the same. She has the arrogance and self righteous attitude of someone who thinks they are better than everybody else , but also is a fair and kind person. You truly see her arrogance when her and john interact , because he doesn't have any of that. When she said to john , people enjoy their talents and he said, I don'tHe didn't mean killing he meant. leading He doesn't enjoy being responsible for people's lives but he takes it very seriously . But unfortunately for him , he's got a talent for it.

Timminson

And so begins the “huh?”s and the “what?”s and the “um…?”s They could have just killed a criminal or something or find someone who just died and up by the wall and just don’t burn them. Wait for them to come back undead and you’re good. We literally saw it happen in like season 2.

Vishnu Vatheriparambil Mohandas

I don't think HBO will spoil House of The Dragon with A Knight of The Seven Kingdoms. Since House of The Dragon is still running, and both are HBO shows, I don't think HBO will let that happen 😂

Vishnu Vatheriparambil Mohandas

I don't understand Tyrion's squeamishness towards the spoils of a battle. The same guy who used wildfire at Stannis's army. He came up with a plan to execute 2 masters in Meereen to show the consequences of defiance. Now all of a sudden Tyrion don't feel good about it? If he cares for Lannister men and his family, why choose to side with Dany who's going to war against Lannisters? And then be sad about it? Punishment for defiance is execution ever since Aegon the Conqueror. Rob executed Karstark, Jon executed Janos. So why Tyrion all of a sudden who is used to the laws of Westeros feel bad about this? Poor poor writing and destruction of character arc. Tyrion such an intelligent character wouldn't be in these dilemmas. He would have found a way

Vishnu Vatheriparambil Mohandas

The show runners trying so hard to make Daenerys look ruthless. They've been doing that since season 5 by including events that didn't happen in the books. Dany never burned any masters alive in Meereen or execute Mossador. In the books Mossador was killed by sons of the Harpy. This alone proves how the show runners are trying to make Dany look ruthless. Now with the reactions and expressions from Tyrion, a character written to be intelligent that we trust his judgement, they're trying so hard to picture Dany in a further negative light. I don't know why they can't just stick to the books.

Abigail Buck

I feel bran is all knowing but he has to let free will play out he can't mess with his powers, hence hodor!! Tyrion might not be the best person for danys hand die to him being biased. He can't give her any good advice to her if he is still trying to protect his family .

Simon

I think this is it. This storyline is where the writing gets ridiculous. This mission beyond the wall is so silly and it’s confirmed for me by Licha agreeing it’s silly without being as influenced as we were when it came out.
