Michael West

Welcome to season 8. The rushed plot is a bit frustrating. Also, All the tension was very unsettling for me. The interaction between Arya and the hound was cute.

Flexorcist

Totally agree with you it was so rushed. What was sad, HBO and GRRM wanted 10 season or more. Freaking writers wanted to dip for Star Wars

Funkystar

I don’t know if I can watch these episodes man😭😭 im honestly just feeling the disappointment all over again! I might have to speed through these reactions for my own sanity😅

B

Valid crashout. Couldn't agree more with everything you said at the end.

Justine Le Houx

I totally agree with everything you said. That everything feels so rushed and the stories could have been good if done proprerly. I do think there are some good moments still even in the very end. I try to remember the good moments in the show and it still is my favorite show of all time despite the ending that I would maybe have liked a ittle different. I just have my headcanon version where Jaime for example never left Brienne 😂 Or that he truly loved her and left because he didn’t want to hurt her, idk!!

Cat Indigo

This is 1 of my theories, Bran used his Spooky Tree powers to buff Arya to kill the Night King to avenge Hodor. Yes I know I harp on the Hodor thing, remember he literally carried Bran since season 1.

WanderingBecauseLostLol

I personally think the Bronn scene is hilarious 😂 give the man his bag

Funkystar

Ghost man the last wolf of winterfell😔😭😭 bro was done dirty since S5

Chris Mark

Genuinely I forgot how annoyed these last episodes made me😒

Mike Smith

OMG they edited it out! LOL At 24:16 they had a goof, and there was a starbucks cup left on the table near Dani. It made it all the way to be viewed by the world! lol they must have gone back and took it out, after it became the most famous starbucks cup in the world and threw across the internet.

Funkystar

What a horrible episode ohhhh fuck man😭😭😭

Ambrosio Sanchez

Dany has always been a little like this. we just didn't know all the people she did it to (meaning their stories weren't told in the show/book). the witch for instance. she burns her alive for basically doing what Dany says she intends to do (killing evils rulers). or telling the ppl who save her from the dessert that she is going to burn their city to the ground if they don't let her in. or burning one of the high leaders of astapor (?) with a dragon even if she doesn't know if he was involved with sons of the harpy.

Ambrosio Sanchez

cersei couldn't kill them because Dany still has a bigger army and the only reason they haven't taken over king's landing is because they don't want to kill the innocent ppl. but if cersei killed Dany then they wouldn't care and just come and take over the city. they can take king's landing whenever they want

Dresdon

Ya the writing in these last few episodes is pretty painful. All character development out the window. Things move way too fast to make sense. I still love the universe but they did not conclude this show well :/ I look forward to you watching the others

NF

This doesn’t make any sense lol. Especially considering she invited attack by murdering Missandei right in front of her.

Cat Indigo

Theory #2, the writers said f it we're getting paid let's mess with everything

Charlie

This episode has about 6 episodes worth of plot line with nothing breaking it up, even just having a few extra storylines and prolonging it over a couple episodes wouldve made it so much better never mind the writing

Mike Smith

if you think back to what dani has now vs what she had when she traveled over the seas. Shes basically losing everyone shes cared for one at a time in her goal to get the throne. You can see it eats her a little more each time.

MKF1004

Jon Snow: Doesn't pet Ghost or say 'goodbye' before bailing on him Me at home: "Lord of Light should have left you dead."

Fred bates

This is gonna sound harsh, but fuck Danny. She cares more about being Queen than she does about anything else. She would not sacrifice her positi.\nOn and sacrifice any power for anyone\nBut she expects john to.

Brian

Shout out Kings Landing medal workers for putting in over time lol

August Banks

After the first watch you can see how Dany is going down hill real fast. Jorah killed by the White Walkers, then Jon not giving her any D after finding out she is his auntie, then she loses another Dragon + Missandei. I had dread watching anything after S8E3, and might just nope out of these last few episodes and watch for your HOTD startup. More crashing to come.

Robert Anderson

Your feelings are the same as many others at this time during the show’s run.

Geno

I will not be surprised if your intro has more crashouts 😭

Vishnu Vatheriparambil Mohandas

The show runners trying so hard to make Daenerys look ruthless. Why would Dany decline Sansa's suggestion to give the soldiers time to rest and recuperate? Dany's that particular response doesn't match with her character. She postponed her iron throne plan and stayed back in Meereen to make sure the freedom of the former slaves. Why would she wants to push her army who are wounded and exhausted into another war? Show runners have been doing that since season 5 by including events that didn't even happen in the books. Like every scene where Dany is ruthless since Season 5. Dany locked up her own children her dragons just because a girl was killed. Why would a person like that behave this way? This alone proves how the show runners are trying so hard to make Dany a negative character so people will start choosing Jon. Now with the reactions and expressions from Tyrion, a character written to be intelligent that we trust his judgement, and also Varys, they're trying so hard to picture Dany in a further negative light. I don't know why they can't just stick to the books.

Vishnu Vatheriparambil Mohandas

Usually when a group of people who doesn't like each other go through some trauma together, when they survive something together, that'll end up with them getting closer to each other. But here, soon after the biggest danger has passed, they're all at each other's throats. Sansa giving hate eyes at Dany during the feast. Even after her army and her dragons saved Sansa.

Vishnu Vatheriparambil Mohandas

If she cared more about the throne, she wouldn't have stayed back in Meereen to make sure the freedom of all the former slaves when she heard masters recaptured the slaver's bay. She wouldn't have locked up her dragons when a girl was burned. She wouldn't have gone North to fight with Jon. She would have durectly gone for the throne. So yeah.. you don't make any sense.

Josh M

"We're pivoting so hard" is pretty much the slogan for this season haha. So many characters acting out of, well, character. Not enough time to make these sudden switches remotely believable. Other thoughts: How could Euron possibly hit Dany's dragons from that position without being spotted first? I find that hard to believe. Missandei's death hurts though.

Dan Tydeman

If you think this episode was a 'pivot' just wait for the next 2 episodes :DDD Also yes you gunna be crashing out a lot more if you crashed out to this episode.

ramon carter

this is where the whole show falls apart with the writing

ramon carter

this is where the whole show falls apart with the writing

John Zimmerman

Oh no, she's going to think about this episode in preparation for her intro. You're already putting in more effort than the "writers" did for the entire season. I'm expecting a full crash out in every intro going forward

Naut

lol 100%

Naut

This episode certainly was a doozy but the show fell apart with the writing well before this. 😎

Nomaan

This is always the dumbest argument cos sacrifice her position/power for what? For who??? Someone who spent 7 seasons building her army and learning how to rule to just give it all up for someone else just cos he’s a man? Do you people hear yourselves. It’s so stupid to even think that

Nomaan

It’s actually quite cringe when people bring up Mirri as if she didn’t literally murder Dany’s baby. Yes mirri was a victim but her murdering a literal baby makes her execution valid.

My_Cousin_Mose

GRRM and HBO both wanted more seasons but the showrunners wanted to be done with it so they could move on to make a Star Wars show. But the ending of GoT was so poorly received that the deal with Lucasfilm never went through. And the explanation given by one of the showrunners for how the Iron Fleet snuck up on Dany and her Dragons- "Dany kind of forgot about the Iron Fleet and Euron's forces."

My_Cousin_Mose

"Yes that was the old Jaime Lannister you've had a character arc since then." Well I think Dan and Dave kind of forgot about the first 7 1/2 seasons. All crashouts are valid at this point.

Johnny R

Yeah this season is when it truly manifested itself

Johnny R

Such a shame because this season has it’s moments, the visuals and the music are so good but the execution is just so bad and rushed 😢 we were robbed of at least 2 more seasons

Dale Gwynn

Sansa father Ned kept a secret for years, even from his wife. Sansa couldn't keep a secret for 5 minutes.

Dale Gwynn

Yes!!! You get it... All this other GOT fans like to claim Dany just went mad like her dad... I say... Did she? or was she just pissed? She lost half her army, two of her dragons and her best friend doing it Tyrion's way. Not just before she is beheaded her besties last words are burn them!!! So did she go mad? or was she pissed off?

Karina

People expect too much. The author gave the show runners an outline of how the books will end. Why do you think now he won’t finish the book? He would have added way more story but the ending was going to be this more or less.
