I think it's Aegon's baby. It has been long enough that Helaena is visibly pregnant now, so the timeline works for pre Aegon lustrated in dragonfire. Also! Lustrated means to purify ceremonially, and Larys talked about resurrection this episode so he's definitely crafting a narrative I think. Aegon the reborn?

I still don't understand why they dyed fake-Daerons hair when real Daeron is a red head. At least the hair color of a prince should be known? Maybe not by Daemon or by Rhaenyra, but by someone in Kingslanding?

Cool theory, I like it. Maybe you should write an application for the writers room. But it's much simpler. Vhagar is known to be the sneakiest dragon in histroy despite her size. Remember how Lucerys only noticed Vhagar at Stormsend after he landed, the lightning struck and Vhagar was growling? Shortly after she got Lucerys out of nowhere when he thought he was safe? jump scare out of the clouds! And the other time when Vhagar was chilling in the woods before Aegon arrived in Rook's Rest? All that while the scouts of Rook's Rest probably kept their eyes open, because they expected an army and maybe a dragon. My personal highlight when Vhagar was hiding behind the castle and Meleys+Rhaenys lost sight of her followed by another jump scare attack. It's truly incomprehensible to me how the writers came up with this and go for it repeatedly. Imagine you playing D&D and your DM tells you about the biggest dragon in the world and also tells you that it has sneak 100.

It kills me that Rhaenyra didn't seize on Ulf's drinking habit as a way to improve her image with the people. Like yes, it would be putting a dragon rider at risk but if you have a local guy, everybody at the pub knows him, suddenly he's a knight and a Dragonrider in the queen's service, buying everybody rounds of ale and singing Rhaenyra's praises, like hey that could have gone a long way. It's too bad Mysaria wasn't in the room, I know she would have thought the same thing

Dunno how they'd know if he left kings landing as an infant. I think people from Oldtown who had seen him would travel and people might have a vague idea of what he looks like I'll give you that, I'm waiting to see how his relationship to Ormund plays out first. If the show doesn't say otherwise it'll definitely bother me because people obviously travel, but I have a suspicion that Ormund seriously abused and groomed this kid, and likely he wasn't out in public enough to be seen.
