Man I forgot about the scene between Skylar and the lawyer, the lawyer is harsh but she's absolutely right in what she says to Skylar. Like, she's not a therapist she's a lawyer and in confidence the best thing to do to protect yourself and your family from both the law and the cartel is to gtfo expeditiously. I totally hear you on the "just ditch your morals, get money king" like if I were her I would WANT to just turn a blind eye and accept the money, but I also know I couldn't do it. I would be a nervous wreck 24/7 on whether or not my partner would get caught and if I would in turn get screwed over, and tbh even SCARIER I'd be so scared of rival drug dealers or cartel members finding out where I live and especially with kids who have nothing to do with it ahhhh it would just be too much for me personally. I wouldn't be able to snitch on my partner but I WOULD sign the paper and bounce.

Omg and side note not only do I think you're right in that Walt liked being able to control and talk down to Jesse, I think if Gale went into coffee instead of meth not only could he single handedly topple Starbucks but I'd be his number ONE customer

The symbolism and colors are going hard again. Best stop reading here, if you think it's spoilery to talk/read about these colors. Walt wearing a green shirt when he goes to talk to Gus about the money, while Gus talks about meth in a yellow shirt. Skylar putting the white towel between her feet and Ted's heated floor after Marie talking to her about facing death changing someone. (Marie obviously talks about Hank, but Skylar also thinks of Walt) The beam in the middle of the room at dinner separating Skylar and Walt. Final shot both in frame with Walt holding Holly. Skylar with the White + green clothes at the attorney talking about money and Walter. Green shirt in a green baby room when she finds the signed divorce papers. Skylar wears white when calling to discuss the papers. Walt wearing another blue shirt to work in the Lab Yellow protective suits cooking meth on red floor.
