I think Walt really does care about Jesse. He definitely has a soft spot for him

AFLO

Walter White is like Tony Montana." You need to people like him to blame everything on, point your fingers and say That's the bad guy."

LaserLamb

The man in the beginning was Tuco's uncle & the twins' father. It's a bad idea to cook meth in the basement. At the very least, you stink up your house worse than cigarette smoke. Cooking meth smells like cat piss. Worst case scenario, one little wrong chemical combination & 💭💥BLAM!!!💥💨, no more basement. They're giving blood because they're hanging around in a hospital & hospitals need surplus blood of all types, not because they're bored. 🙄 When Walt was talking about his surgery, & he said he didn't know if he would ever wake up again, it's because major surgeries are always risky, especially with anesthetics, there's always the risk of something unforeseen happening. Sure, he shouldn't have said that remark in front of Marie.....😏 Licha, you're an odd bird 🐦 You're almost always smiling, but how could you not laugh your headphones off when Jesse inflated his jumpsuit with the airhose & he started dancing around?!?!?!? 🤣🤣🤣 I see your point, but I can't agree with you about Walt not having to lie to Gale. His lie was that there were work-related reasons why he didn't want to continue with Gale. He couldn't have just said to Gus or Gale that he preferred to work with Jesse based on association alone, because Gus hand-picked Gale for the position, he basically came with the lab. Gus may have said it's Walt's lab, but that doesn't mean it's not Gus's business; he hires who he wants to work for him. Plus, Gale could've easily complained to Gus that Walt was trying to take away the position that Gus gave to him. So the b.s. that Walt told Gus (work-related hardships) was the same that Walt told Gale. Thus, Gus was "forced" to agree with the chemist, even though Gus doesn't like Jesse very much. Gus can't be happy about that. However, I think Gus didn't put up too much resistance because he did receive Jesse's pound of meth, probably had it tested, & saw that the purity was way up there. Jesse showed Gus that he knew the chemistry. 🧪 ⚗️ As far as lying about the delay in cooking, any story about a relative in the hospital, & Gus could've called his bluff & ask which hospital so he could pay his respects. Could you imagine refusing to tell Gus that harmless information? I can't! 😂 Walt also didn't want to reveal that his in-law was DEA. Of course, Gus already knew, & knew that Hank was in danger, so he put 2 & 2 together, probably called for Hank at the office & was told which hospital to go to, & how many orders of chicken to bring. 🐔🍗

Mobius

Walt cares about Hank, which is why he made Jesse a 50/50 partner, not for selfish reasons. He could have simply gotten rid of Jesse, as Saul suggested or just let Jesse sue Hank.

At the end of the show you need to watch some of the scenes from Metastasis, the Columbian remake of BB. The scenes with Tuco, and the twins' and Hank's shootout, are on YT and they are hilariously bad xD

Gary Morse

Jesse seems to get a severe beating, emotionally and physical each season.

William Lenzi

Call the cops without the phone book 😂

Gary Morse

Gus seems to have powerful connections to have a cartel boss killed. It will be interesting to see the backstory on Gus.

Braxton Ritchie

Caught me way off guard + the utter seriousness with which she said it 😭

Ravi

Right. Jesse could have easily been eliminated in this point in the story, and it would cost Walt nothing. In fact, it would be beneficial to get rid of him. But Walt goes out of his way to prevent it from happening.

LaserLamb

Walt cares about Hank, but how does making Jesse a partner stop Jesse from suing Hank? Walt doesn't want to kill Jesse, & he does have rare moments of real warmth. But once Jesse said he might use Walt as a bargaining chip with the DEA, the playing field changed. He made the job sound as attractive as possible to Jesse, because he needed him to say yes to it. It's "keep your friends close, but your enemies closer" scenario.

Mobius

Basically, Walt tried to bribe Jesse with a $1.5 million partnership and that money was coming out of Walt's own share. Jesse even recognizes this and says, “Nice try saving your brother-in-law.” After accepting Walt's offer, Jesse immediately drops the charges, so it's pretty obvious Walt was trying to stop Jesse from suing Hank. If you listen to the conversation between Saul and Walt, Walt doesn't really seem to take Jesse's threats seriously. He thinks Jesse will eventually come around. He genuinely doesn't believe Jesse will actually turn on him. At this point, Jesse has a perfect opportunity to get out of the drug business but he chooses not to. A popular belief among BB fans is that Walt likes to control and manipulate Jesse, so that's why he keeps him around. But they conveniently forget that Walt and Jesse had already gone their separate ways. Walt was happy working with Gale and didn't want anything to do with Jesse. Jesse was the one making threats which tied Walt's hands and forced him to fire Gale and offer Jesse a partnership. In the real world, with this kind of behavior, Jesse would probably be dead.

Bobfather

It is amazing from certain angles that Anna Gunn and Betsy Brandt can look like sisters. Watch Marie in the scene with Hank on the bed.

Bobfather

So Gus gives the Twins Permission to kill Hank, but I theorize someone Gus knows calls to warn Hank, only they did not know Hank did not have his gun.

SPACEZFAP

In case you didn't catch it, the guy at the start of episode 7 was hector (the bell guy in the wheelchair)

heisenbewg

"okay somebody needs to call the cops!!.... without the phonebook." LMFAOAOAOAOA

Bobfather

Marie, there are 2 people to blame one in the morgue and one upstairs.

Bobfather

Is anyone else wondering with a baby is? Or did they mention it and I just missed it

Bobfather

Also new to your patreon. Now just try to catch up. Caught up with BB now for GOT and Severance.

"Valid" 😅 Hank going berserk and causing serious bodily injury, because of a prank call by Walt that caused panic and distress. Hank in court: Your Honor, beating Jesse Pinkman in the face until he needed to be hospitalized was the valid response.

Nathaniel Hilton

Ah they got darth vaders breathing by sticking a microphone down an oxygen regulator, basically the same as what Hank was on (although they used a scuba one)

My_Cousin_Mose

I'm halfway through this wondering if Hank is even gonna live and you don't seem the least bit worried lol. Realistically with bullets like that Hank if screwed if he doesn't get onto an operating table in a matter of minutes. I have mixed feelings on Hank. He's a good character and I really like him in every scene he's in whilst he's not at work. On the job I have a less than fond opinion of him. I hope he pulls through. If he doesn't that was one badass way to go out.

John Zimmerman

Jesse is a scumbag who's been a source of suffering for countless people. He's not some puppy dog. You reap what you sow. Hank is the moral core of the entire show and yet he endures the most grandstanding and callous disrespect from the audience. This show is such a fascinating case study
