Dont forget, the last thing we saw Jesse doing before getting the call from Walt to murder Gale, was smoking his pipe. He was likely high during all of this. Also, "They're Minerals Marie!". This show is almost unbelievably good.

Yay new season. Totally unrelated comment, but I've been watching for a while now and have to skip the first 5 seconds of every video because my dog goes crazy at "Hello there, welcome back!" - takes minutes before she settles again and stops hyperfocusing at the TV, searching for cats lol. No issues if I skip that sentence, really interesting hehe

It's been just long enough since I watched the original run of this that I remember what happens about 1 minute before it does 😂 pretty fun

That comment at the end of "it's not just one answer" is exactly why I love this show so much. There's so many little details and moments that are open to different interpretations that even on my like 6th watch over 15 years I pick up on new things each time.

They're minerals Licha, not crystals. 😂Well, maybe they're crystals. Hank needed something to focus on that wasn't work related. I think he chose minerals because they're stationary (like him), they're valuable & unique (like him), & they're not people walking around doing things or playing sports, things he himself can't do at the moment. Minerals are just enough to keep his mind occupied. Yeah, Gale's praise of Walt's meth made an impression on Gus. He wanted Gale's opinion of it, otherwise why would they bring a sample of it into the lab? Walt's become a real pain in Gus's culo. Gus is pissed that Walt survived, killed Gale, & in doing so managed to get an upper hand on Gus, ripping control of the lab out from under his feet. Gus had to assert his control somehow in his own "kingdom". Walt looked "drippy"? 🤷🏻‍♂️

People love to hate Marie and she's certainly not the kind of person I could stand being around for very long (I get overwhelmed easily) but she is SO SUPPORTIVE of her partner and so stubborn in her optimism it really is admirable. For a man like Hank who thinks relying on others for basic care is a weakness (it isn't, but that's macho types for you) it's honestly great that Marie herself is already accustomed to caring for patients and medical care. I know a lot of people who would really struggle with that but she takes it all in stride.

the way you can FEEL the gravity when gus walks in the lab. i remember i watched this ep high for the first time and i was genuinely tweaked the fuck out over gus like i was genuinely so scared of him

I pray you watch Better Call Saul after this. It's more of this show, but actually even better in a lot of ways.

Gus killed Victor for 2 reasons. Victor was seen at the crime scene, and that could lead back to Gus. Victor did not have permission from Gus to do any cooking. That was a lesson to everyone in that room, even Mike. In Gus's mind "You only do what I tell you! If you have questions about a course of action, you call me first!"

I'd be surprised if she doesn't follow up with El Camino then BCS. Calling it better than BB is kinda crazy though haha to each his own of course, i'm joking, but I think BB is so much better
