I can't say I approve of the Prologue removal. I'm not sure what the reasoning behind doing so was, but I think it made the game worse. Even if one wished to argue it was silly, or overly long, or whatever, it added a very important element to the story - context to the character's action regardless of what route the player is pursuing. Previously, the character suddenly found himself thrust into a position of power with no skills necessary to hold it. If the player picked dominant options, there was this implied storyline of the MC always having potential to be dominant and successful, he just missed a little bit of luck in his life. Now he has the tools he needs to succeed, and he makes full use of them. There's a journey to it. If the player picked submissive actions, they felt perfectly justified - the MC has no actual experience in enforcing his will, so he gets outmanouvered, ends up manipulated, ends up being taken advantage of. He was given money and power - and squanders his gifts, becoming slave to people more devious than him. Both storylines were great. But we got rid of that in favour of a generic blank ceo MC. It's honestly depressing.
