Hey everybody,

I hope this post finds you well. Some of you know that I am a fan of vintage Parker 51 fountain pens. When I learned that Parker was releasing an all-new 51, I decided to set aside a little here and there so that I could acquire one. I finally ordered one and am happy to show it to you in this video along with a couple of vintage examples.

I didn't come right out and say it in the video, but I was disappointed that the pen's color was darker than what I was expecting, but as it turns out, the color has grown on me to the point where I prefer it over the lighter color I thought I was getting based on the online photo.

I admit this pen was a splurge for me but I know I'm going to get a lot of enjoyment from the pen and pretty sure you'll see it play minor roles in future videos, even if you only catch a glimpse of it in the background.

Thank you all so much for being a patron. We appreciate you!

Relax as I show you the 2021 Parker 51 Deluxe fountain pen that I recently acquired. Parker has once again stunned the world with the launch of the resurrected Parker 51fountain pen. This revolutionary pen range was first introduced in 1941, after years of intense research and development and now lives again in two versions, the core (standard) version and the Deluxe model, which is featured in this video. This is video 502 of this Channel. Below are Amazon links to items that are featured in this video so that you can purchase them for yourself if you choose. One of these days, I would love to hear your “spilled fountain pen ink” story that ruined your day! I hear your voice in my head reciting your warning every single time I fill a pen 🤣 Oddly enough, I accidentally bumped a bottle enough to spill some not long ago. It was one of Noodler’s “bulletproof” inks on the surface of a 200-year-old wooden desk. After a 3-second panic attack, I was somehow able to clean up the mess without leaving ANY residual evidence on the desk. Either my desk is made from some magical wood, or Noodler’s 54th Massachusetts isn’t actually bulletproof, or I just got darned lucky!
