I agree. This is kind of a situation where nobody is innocent. Yeah, Alicia was initially part of Kaori’s group. Brooke did have a choice though, and she should be responsible for that. Plus, she left all summer and didn’t talk to either Alicia or Francis. She banged the coach instead. The only person who didn’t really do anything was Francis.

also francis was open to brooke exploring she made that choice to do so she just wanted a healthy relationship. alicia was wrong for having a scheme and not going into it with good intentions brooke has every right to feel angry

Heather is cute! CUTE! It's great that you can give side characters these kind of moments while still keeping the story focused on Brooke. And Brooke's emotions here are very believable. As with the previous page good use of action to keep a dialog heavy scene visually engaging. Plus this is a great example of "show, don't tell" for Brooke's volleyball prowess, showing off how hard she can spike here both fits perfectly with her emotions and sets up for the team's undefeated record nicely.
