First comic rewards of 2018. Last year was awesome and it's good to start out this one by drawing the siamese cats. For this update, we have the finished first chapter of The Mission, and the first four pages of Mai and Minh's Grand Vacation. As light and funny as it is, it will have some character development for the kitties in the end, so don't miss out.

The first four pages of Mai and Minh are attached to this post.

The first complete chapter of The Mission can be downloaded here:

The back issue list hasn't changed, other than from me folding all of 2016's comics into a single .zip.

Thank you for the kind words and the new releases. I am curious how the new comic with Mai and Minh will develop. Love your work, dude! Keep it up! :-)

Buster Davison

Off to a good start so far! Will this "Trent" be the same one from No Remorse and Second Chances, Alex's brother?

Tundra

I already love it. Some hints concerning Trent, maybe..? :3

Tundra

Or the Dog from Mikey Begins?

Xpray

Lovely art, as always. Keep up the good work :)

Glenn Sellers

Is Priscilla still pregnant in this comic? I can't tell for certain but it does look like she's got a bit of a belly growing there. Oh, BTW, I really like the way Mai(?) looks in her bikini. Bee-you-tea-full. You certainly have a way with the female form, Jay.

Shadewing

love how minh asks to be unlocked before leaving

Glenn Sellers

Well, he can't have no fun if he's in a chastity cage. LOL.

First of all, I would like to thank you for one more successfully completed comic book - The Mission. The Cottonwine universe is very interesting, and I'll wait with impatience when you continue to work on the sequel. It's great that the equines appeared in the comics. I noticed that you rarely paint them, so it's very nice to see them in your work. It would be interesting to know whether the ascetic faith of the missionaries is a complete theological concept or is it only for creating a story plot? I would also like to find out more details about the equines, their lifestyle and their susceptibility to Cottonwine influence. It seems that in your previous works these things were not disclosed. Thank you again for this work! Now I'm happy to get acquainted with the new story about Mai and Minh.

Thanks for "The Mission, part 1", can't wait for "part 2". I hope you will also reveal more about the Orcines, who were just teased in part 1 and seems to be different of what you usually do. Maybe one of the paladins will be taken by them while the other will stay with the Equines. While lurking on the web, I found an art depicting a male Orcine but I still don't know if it's legit or fan-made. https://i.imgur.com/zcOcfA1.jpg

That was an old sketch I did as an experimental Cottonwine Bestiary example entry. Just that one.

Reg

Love these two!

Joseph

Love the color on the 3rd page. Thanks, Jay.

Buster Davison

Hey Jay, have you ever thought about revisiting the Kitty Sutra, except this time with Aron and Zoe?

Jay Naylor

I hadn't, no! I have too many stories to do, sadly.

Shadewing

that would be cool, zoe is more than flexible enough and aron is getting there.
