Almost wasn't going to answer this one, because it's alluded to in Better Days page 296. But, here we are.

Smores

Is it alluded? I thought she pretty blatantly spells it out.

Vet

Memories…..I know how she feels bringing those up.

Spectre

It’s sweet that she still keeps his photo around.

pokediginut

Sometimes straight answers are necessary

glitch

Dang. Is that why she named her son Jason?

Gallaterror89

Hey, BD was a great comic to read, even if it did have moments, but still interesting info though

Tyler J.

Is better days available?

DC_OZ

He's got emo hair. Of course, I wore the baggy goth chain pants in highschool.

IceCreamDirge

Damn. I never appreciated how your stories are.

Rose Head

Maaan that’s tough I felt that

Ammariel

I know that feeling, Been there. It suck. I relate to Beth.

Lance Williams

Makes me want to spread my wings. Hug her close and let her cry herself to sleep.

MoD366

I totally forgot about that. Guess it's time to re-read Better Days. That'll also give me a nice dose of Lucy, we're unfortunately not seeing much of her here.

Lyrith Underwood

Jay, you rotten bastard, how much do i have to spend on you to at LEAST give her a dream or a flashback with them being able to be together one last time? That's so sad, my boi ;n; beautiful art, 10/10, would let you rip out my heart instead of jerking off again...

Max stuhler

Yoooo better days👌🔥

zeel

Reminds me of why I liked Better Days: it always felt so REAL. The fact that this character already has a canon answer for this question is fantastic, even if it's a sad answer.

Gray Muzzle

But why is she talking about her dead boyfriend with no pants on?

RexTyranical

Didn't she name her son Jason too
