Working in the social media department definitely has its perks. I get my own desk, my own little corner of the office… and apparently, my own personal IT guy whenever something goes wrong.

Well something was wrong with the cable mess underneath my table🫢

“Ugh, this is such a disaster,” I sighed, looking down at the tangled cables. “I can’t even figure out which one is causing the problem.”

So, naturally, I called IT.

A few minutes later, he appeared at my desk with his laptop and your little toolkit, ready to save the day.

“Alright, what seems to be the problem?” He asked.

I pointed underneath my desk. “Those. Fix them for me.💅🏼”

He crouched down and started working through the cables while I sat back in my chair, watching him.

But then I got an idea.

I slowly slipped off my stinky flats and stretched my sweaty feet out beneath the desk, just close enough for him to notice.

He paused for a second.

I smiled innocently. “Something wrong?🤭”

“No… everything’s fine,” he muttered, trying to concentrate on the cables.

I couldn’t help laughing.

“Oh, good. I’d hate to distract the IT expert while he’s working.”

I moved my feet a little closer, deliberately teasing him while he tried to untangle the mess.

“Focus,” I whispered with a grin. “You still have a cable to fix.”

He sighed and went back to work.

I leaned back in my chair, completely pleased with myself.

Maybe having an IT nerd around the office wasn’t such a bad thing after all. 🤭👣
