that was a trip, I am so happy and so emo with the izone content, it just hits hard even though I made peace with it. I guess I will never get over it haha. Thank you for giving me excuse to watch them again along with you, I probably won't be able to handle it if I am on my own to be honest. These girls together just triggers all my happy and painful memories into a giant ball. And Minju got pink hair especially for their first concert "eyes on me".

i always get a lump on my throat with izone content after everything and this is a good thing in the way that nothing will ever take away my feelings for one of my favorite groups ever hehe. saying im proud of them for what they are doing now is an understatement and im grateful that all the sadness i felt during the disbandment has now turned into the "lump on my throat" feeling i usually get when i get emotional with happy sadness lol. Also the idol school stages were so good, seeing my fromis babies was everything and just makes me even more proud to know how much they have growth. i hope people that tend to go back to the "produce scandals" never put their anger onto the girls that had absolutely nothing to do with what happened.

FT Island thoughts: (1) you're 1000% percent correct that their live performance videos are incredible, (2) Minhwan is one of the best drummers out there (that double kick is absolutely out of this world) and is also a father of three now!, (3) every time I hear Wind I have to then go watch SVT Seungkwan achieving a life goal singing it as a duet with Hongki on Hongki's radio show -- it's adorable how excited Seungkwan is, they're both amazing, and I love watching DK just error out hearing Hongki's vocal power in person

Idol school: 1, regarding the girls in Rough performance - the one nailing the high note who trained with gfriend actually debuted prior to IS in gg called Berry Good. Later on she joined the show and some time after the show she made her solo debut with Merry Solo Christmas (put this in yt to find the actual video and channel: 메리솔크) and made a cb this year with Dream (김나연 - 꿈). The other girl you didnt know is Lee Yoojung who also went by stage name Haru. Before IS she was in myB (Maroo ent.). After IS she made another debut in gg called Ho1iday - it didnt go well, the girls decided to leave the agency and be independent under the name API, but their yt channel(API에이피아이) was last updated in 2020. 2, I have seen people question why Fromis_9 didnt make their ver. of Magical and i agree the song slaps. Honestly above all the stuff that went wrong with IS the most lacking aspect I considered was no engagement whatsoever. We can hate on mnet all we want by here they kind of failed to make a drama (or any narrative to be precise) that would catch my attention. It might be a different case now that you are in love with Fromis_9, i remember watching it during love bomb era when i didnt know any of the members lol.

I’m not gonna lie, I wouldn’t be opposed to you just going through an entire video just reacting/ rewatching Iz*one content just for nostalgic sake. I didn’t realize how much I missed them, but rewatching their stages just fill me with overwhelming joy and sadness at the same time

I'm so so happy you reacted to FT Island! They're still one of my favorite groups and definitely my favorite band. I've been their fan from the very beginning, back in 2007, so it's been 15 years (wow, I'm actually amazed hahaha). I was absolutely addicted to their first album back then - I listened to it on repeat for a whole month, kind of not wanting to listen to anything else hahaha... I also saw them live twice and those were absolutely insane experiences. They were at KCON in Paris in 2016 and the line up for the KCON was insane to begin with - IOI, f(x), Block B, BTS, SHINee and them. Most of the people of course came for the other groups, but most of them left the concert being in love with FT Island, because their energy on stage is insane. Hongki is the only idol next to Jooheon that I've seen live whose charisma and energy on stage is out of this world. I went to their concert in Budapest after that and I spent the whole concert crying - literally sobbing - and that has never happened to me before or since. I just got so nostalgic and happy that I couldn't contain myself. So yeah, they're absolutely amazing live and Hongki is one of my favorite vocalists in general. Anyway, their music was more pop rock in the beginning of their career and then in 2015 FNC finally gave them more freedom in producing music, so they released Pray - that whole album and the albums to come are both absolutely amazing and have harder rock sound in comparison to their earlier career. They also released a lot of stuff in Japan, so their discography is huge. I don't even know what to say other than I'm happy you started discovering them. They always make me extra emotional when I think about their songs.
