꼭꼭 숨어라 - zombie purple kiss maybe? also Man in the Box reminded me of Emperor's New Clothes

Okay but the connection to Queen is now a reoccurring thing??? I was just watching a reaction yesterday where someone compared the vocal tones in Happy Death Day to Bohemian Rhapsody and now you're hearing Queen vibes in Dear H. I definitely hear it now that its been pointed out and I'm very intrigued that it was said by two separate people about 2 different XH songs

As for recommendations, I have two! If you want silly, good vibes fun; go for their variety show 'Rock The World'! If you would rather start with one on one pre-debut content where they talk about how they joined the company and start to get to know each other; 'Xdinary Begins' is a great series

꼭꼭 숨어라 is the title and hook for ichillin's play hide and seek that might be where you recognize it from?

Hannah

honestly for variety stuff, it really depends on what kind of vibes you want yk? I personally 100% recommend Rock The World to start with, these episodes are soooo funny and are a great introduction to their personalities and dynamics.

Either Rock the World (more variety/games) or Xdinary Heroes Begins (more docu style, preparation for debut, talks about their trainee days) would be great shows to watch!

ugh I LOVE this album - I was really curious to see how they tackled the "softer" concepts/ballads, but I actually adore Good enough and Dear H.! Dear. H is such a power ballad, Jooyeon's voice is PERFECT for that shit fr I think Bicycle and Man in the Box are my favorites as of right now, but damnnn this was an ALBUM.

folks have been giving other examples, but "꼭꼭 숨어라" is also in Stray Kids' Wolfgang - that's probably not what you were thinking of, but it's what I always think of when I hear that line (I'm such a sucker for songs that have that "hide and seek"-adjacent line in it)

Exekyute (Kyu)

Definitely recommend Rock the World if you're looking to see the boys' personalities and how they mesh together mixed with fun and chaos. Xdinary Heroes begins is more lowkey, softer content but gives a bit of insight to the boys' beginnings with JYPEnt/each other. :)

honestly this is probably my favorite album of theirs, loved every single track 🙌🏻 my favorite song has to be good enough

I think this part 꼭꼭 숨어라 is also in Stray Kids Wolfgang pre-chorus. Thats what I thought of when I heard it lmao

Their debut album (Hello World) was my AOTY... and after a month, I can say that this so far is the top contender for this year lmao. They've completely taken over my playlist.
