Yes! Once again, Rias is more the 2nd main character and not reduced to a side character, and Izuku is finally letting everyone know that he's one of the new top dogs in town! He's also continuing his trend of making good first impressions (unless someone is an arrogant asshole like Cao Cao, or just doesn't want to make friends like Zephyrdor). I'm curious as heck to see what weapon Rias is having made since Izuku is probably gonna make her a Homie of her own, though I could be wrong. I'm also looking forward to Izuku putting Zytal Bael in his place. He and the other older Devils don't know it yet but they've made the exact same mistake as Riser, and their pride will be broken just as badly. Hell, Leylana Phenexs must've been having deja vu watching them fall into the same trap laid by the same 16-year-old boy. Though what made me happiest was Rias's goal of surpassing her brother. Now THAT is a badass goal of someone as cool as her and Sairaorg! I wasn't expecting Sun Wukong to show up again so soon, but I'm glad it was him and not Indra, who's still bitching that his useful 'pet' died from challenging someone strong enough to beat him in a fair fight. No bitch shit could save that fraud when he wasn't stacking the deck against his targets so heavily that they couldn't do anything, or pull any cheating moves to win. Now Sun Wukong is training Aika & Koneko (Yes!), a former Dragon King is teaching Rias how to be a mother fuckin' dragon, and Asia is FINALLY going to learn how to defend herself! Because healing is worthless if the squishy White Mage gets targeted by anyone with half a brain cell by going after the easiest target - who Rias NEVER taught how to fight back!

Diodora is already on Izuku's radar now that he's literally 'seen' his soul is a backed-up toilet, and if he pushes his luck and tries anything against Asia, then Izuku will either block him or wipe him from existence. Izuku isn't dumb and knows to be cautious, so how long Diodora lives depends on how lucky he thinks he is. As for Zytal Bael...did none of the older Devils watch what Izuku did to Riser Phenex? Izuku used the same tactic but with different words, and their arrogance put them one foot in a hole they dug themselves! XD

The look on all the devils' faces when they realized how wrong they were must have been priceless. Lord Bael is stupid; that's the only explanation I have for his behavior. Well, that and the fact that he thinks Zekram will save his skin every time he messes up. As for Diodora... crush him.

so, genuinely curious: how to Rias, Sona, Izuku and their Peerages stay enrolled in Kuoh? since i doubt these training trips have them return to attend classes each day, and it also feels like there should be a decent timeskip between some events (a few weeks or even a month) but the only timeskips we have been told about are the Training Trips. (if memory serves at least... I should do a reread again) and Kuoh has been out of focus for a while now, after the Youth Devil Rating games i'd love to see some Slice of Life stuff (and a lot of Bedroom Sports for Izuku's Harem/Polycule) as life returns to a semblance of normalcy with school days and doing normal things, plus the occasional devil contract work.

I wonder how Heaven will react when they learn there's a "Devil" that is doing legitimate Angel work and getting paid like a Devil but Heaven is getting credit. Michel will probably feel like a total a-hole when he learns its Asia, and that she's still faithful to God despite everything.

They keep up appearances by having their Familiars transform into their likeness so the normal humans don't realize they're not there. Akeno and Sona did this for Rias when she first ate her Devil Fruit and was unconscious for a week. I also hope that Izuku & Rias/their Peerages can take a breather and just relax for a while. Izuku must be sick and tired of terrorist scumbags constantly attacking his class and interrupting their fun outings, and they're going to get dragged into more nonsense by megalomaniacal tossers because "peace is boring" or "wE wIlL aVeNgE CaO cAo!" or whatever dumb logic they're using to try and justify wanton murder and pointless chaos.

Not a bad idea, especially if they don't want a potential super weapon on the Devils' side getting aggressive towards them. They'll need to explain why Asia got exiled from the Church the way she was, but since I'm pretty sure Diodora knows that Izuku has Asia, he may try and subtly start shit - or get someone else to - by tricking the Church into thinking that Asia was "seduced by a Devil and fallen," being the crafty bastard he is.

That was absolutely, 100% one of my primary goals for this fic. I hate the fact that she gets sidelined in canon. Not really going to be a big thing, so I don't mind spoiling. It's the Demon King's Longsword from Solo Leveling, just with her PoD instead of lightning. Yup. I knew from the second I started writing that scene that I needed something that went a little harder than just "lol, be a good clan head and win ratings games"

I can see why Zytal Bael thinks Izuku isn't that much of a threat since he never actually fought Riser, he just nullified his fire attacks and Rias finished the job, so that could be seen as Izuku just overpowering Low-class Devils because he's not strong enough to fight High-class ones. Too bad he's about to find out who's been training Rias and her Peerage this whole time. XD

And I cannot thank you enough for making the badass female lead STAY that way, and not let her be reduced from "The Crimson-haired Princess of Annihilation" to "The big-boobed Devil heiress who gets her nipples poked by the main character so he does something useful" like Rias was in canon. I prefer good characters maintaining their aura and not sacrificing it just so a less likable/less interesting character takes the lead from them, especially when they're less intelligent, capable, or deep. Ah, that's a pretty good one, but it'll be slightly more dangerous since it fires Rias's PoD, which is deadlier than lightning. Better long-term goals make for more interesting character development, which is why I like Sairaorg & Sona so much for picking a difficult path rather than a generic one. They know they'll be battling uphill to reach their dreams but accept the challenge, which builds character.

Eh, you don't really need to include MILFs since some of the hottest women in the series are old enough to be MILFs. Now if it were Miruko and/or Lady Nagant, that'd be a different story. :)

An idea for Asia's Phoenix power affecting her Devil/Fallen Angel/Pure Angel form could be different effects of her fire depending on the species she is at the time, and the overall power change could be that if Asia, say, were to 'somehow' end up in a space where she could die, she instead resurrects herself, just like how a phoenix rises from the ashes of death, making her functionally immortal.

If you're going to assume the worst, it's obvious that the Bael clan leader sees Izuku as a threat that needs addressing. You have to understand that since he and Rias arrived, they've gone from being just that girl who could be considered dangerous to a real and complete threat that makes all the other clans' demons look like a joke. The Great King's faction feels very threatened right now. Issei was, at most, a threat, but one that could be taken lightly. Izuku is the complete opposite. He may be a pervert, he may have a harem that would have made canon Issei cry blood, but he's powerful in his own right and has no limits. If Zytal knew the extent of Izuku's threat level, I have no doubt he'd ally himself with whatever faction he needed to see him dead. Hell, I'm sure he's furious because Izuku helped heal Misla.

It certainly is, as it destroys the foothold to victory, but also leads to overlooking very important information that could grant victory otherwise. Hell, so many DxD villains would have won if they pulled their heads out of their own butts and locked in when they had the upper hand.
