Hey guys! Sorry this is late! I really am starting to think that I might have to change the posting date to something else. Have TOO much piling up on Tuesdays with that being the day of the weekly reset in Vindictus. I didn't even get to start editing this until like 11:50. I'll think about it and see what I decide on.

Izuku was horrified to realize that U.A. was… actually kind of boring when they weren’t having their heroics classes. He and Nejire woke up and made love for about an hour or so, getting that sweet, sweet Sexercise in. Afterwards, they attended regular old classes. English, Japanese, math, one of the sciences… Even the fact that they were taught by Heroes didn’t make them exciting. At the very least, Izuku had lucked out and managed to not be in the same class as Katsuki for several of them!
Few of them could actually be called fun, such as Miss Midnight’s Art classes… and at least part of that was because of Midnight herself. It was also one of the cozier classes, since they were held in an actual classroom rather than a huge lecture hall. Pros: Midnight was able to help them all more individually. Cons: Midnight was able to help them all more individually.
With his new, hypercharged libido, Izuku wouldn’t be leaving her classroom without a boner a single time until he graduated. And she knew too, the teasing minx. Still! He at least got the chance to practice his drawing with advice from a pro!
The other classes Izuku enjoyed were the sciences. He had always loved physics, chemistry, and biology. Unfortunately, he had none of them in his schedule for now. Instead, Izuku loaded up on all the ‘graduation-requirement’ educational classes that he could fit into his schedule. He even took a few online-only ‘classes’ at night. He was super eager to just get as many of those out of the way as he could. He chose to suffer early to meet the requirements, and that way, he’d have a lot more free time for everything in later semesters.
Once the morning classes were done and dusted, they had lunch in the massive cafeteria. Lunch Rush’s cooking was amazing and he was a one-man-army in terms of cooking. He was the only chef U.A. employed and he somehow managed to do it all himself, on time, and tasting better than most restaurants. Izuku really wanted to know what his Quirk was, but the man had never been public about it.
After lunch, they eagerly headed to the Heroics changing rooms, where their first real costumes would be waiting. Izuku had gone through so many iterations when designing his costume. The earliest ones just made him look like an All Might knockoff: forest green with bunny ears and a mask that simulated smiling. A five-year-old fanboy’s dream, in other words. He’d come up with many, many designs over the years. Some edgy during high school, and some with little personality besides shouting out other Heroes like the All Might design.
Today, he was a very different person and had actual powers too. If it wasn’t for the… unfortunate styling and insignias, he would have honestly been tempted to just get something like the Captain’s from Hellsing. Nejire didn’t have to try very hard to talk him out of that one, despite how, in her words, ‘yummy’ he was without a shirt.
In the end, Nejire had given him his best idea. With the convenient fact that his werewolf transformation was not hampered whatsoever by his clothes, and the fact that he had loved the set when he saw it in Elden Ring, he had finally submitted a design about a week before classes started.
He showed up at Ground Beta in full plate armor that was as black as the night designed almost to a T like Rellana’s in-game armor. He only lacked the helmet. It looked metallic but was actually a sort of composite material that wouldn’t have been out of place in a Sci-Fi like Mass Effect. To finish the look, he had an emerald sash that was holding Rellana’s Twin Blades.
“Woah, what a cool costume, Midoriya-kun.” Fuyumi beamed at him when he arrived. She was the first one there, so they had quite a few of their classmates to wait on. Her costume immediately caught his attention and made him stop short, staring with a light blush on his cheeks. It was a completely skintight, white bodysuit with tiny hexagonal patterns all over it in red. It did nothing to hide her mouthwatering figure. The arms of the suit were red with exposed fingers, and her boots went up to her knees, also in red. While she wasn’t wearing any now, she did have a strange belt as well that could hold armaments or tools if she ever decided she needed any. Fuyumi blushed when she noticed his intense look. “Eheheh, I based it off Dad’s.” She rubbed the back of her head sheepishly, “It ended up being a bit… sexier than I had imagined.”
“You look great!” He managed to get out.
She smiled, “Thanks!” Her smile turned a little teasing, “What would Nejire-chan say about you eyeing me so intently, though?”
Izuku blinked, “Honestly?” He grinned slightly, “She’d probably be drooling more than I was.”
Fuyumi’s face instantly matched some of her red highlights. “Well, um, I… oh look, a distraction!” She pointed behind him.
Izuku laughed as he turned around, but it died in his throat. Momo was walking up to them with a smile on her face, and Izuku swore she was wearing the sexiest costume since Midnight. It was a simple design: a basic red leotard with white and black accents. Where she lost sanity and gained sexiness was the fact that Izuku swore she used the smallest amount of material that was legally allowed by the Diet. It honestly had more in common with a sling bikini than a leotard. Her legs were exposed from right above her hips to just below her knees, which she had covered by red boots. Her inner-boobs were completely exposed all the way down to her navel, as were her sides and back. She had a black strap across her chest just under her clavicle, ensuring that she wouldn’t suddenly pop out of her own costume by mistake. “H-Holy…” Izuku mumbled, ‘Are you girls trying to kill me?’ His costume suddenly fit a bit worse than it had five minutes ago. He had KNOWN she needed exposed skin for her Quirk, but hadn’t had any idea that her costume would expose her positively sinful body THIS much!
“Hello Izukun, Todoroki-chan!” Momo said cheerfully. Nejire-senpai had been absolutely insistent on zero formality while they’d been getting to know one another, so she had zero issues using her own pet name for Izuku.
Fuyumi grinned, grateful for the distraction, “Hey yourself, Yaoyorozu-chan.” She looked her up and down, “My, but you’re daring, aren’t you?”
Momo giggled, “My Quirk allows me to create anything I want, but it must come directly from my skin.”
Izuku blinked, “Uh, just so you know, DNA-infused materials do exist.” He felt he HAD to point that out, even if he knew she probably was aware of them already.
“Yup! My costume is made of it so that my ice and fire can flow right through it.” Fuyumi added.
“Oh, I’m well aware. My family is wealthy enough that it was one of the first things we tried.” Momo said, smiling at him. She was also amused at the understatement. “Unfortunately, they are not always the perfect solution people think. Any sort of space between my skin and the fabric would make items I created get caught in between. Unless it was so tight that it could be mistaken for paint, the fabrics would just tear, or I’d get a painful backlash when the items got stuck. And if we did make it that tight, I would have difficulty breathing.”
“Ouch.” Fuyumi winced. “Worse than a corset? I tried one of those once for Halloween and I almost passed out.”
“About the same.” Momo deadpanned. “In any case, this is about what I require if I wish to actually use my Quirk for anything big.”
“What about zippers or Velcro?” Izuku asked, eying her costume in discomfort. He loved the design, don’t get him twisted, but it was dangerous. Her vitals were almost completely exposed! If she got hit she would have no protection. He didn’t even want to think about what would happen if she got shot!
“Looks ridiculous and feels awful on bare skin.” Momo deadpanned. Left unsaid was that she could have had less skin exposed if she wanted to. Her thighs, chest, and back were usually more than good enough, and she could easily slip her costume off to Create and put it back on. The exposed sides were almost superfluous. So she absolutely could have designed the costume to be a bit more modest. But Yaoyorozu Momo was most certainly an exhibitionist, and quite frankly, she just didn’t want to.
‘Fair point.’ Izuku thought. ‘Wait, what am I saying? Not fair point! Absolutely not fair point! You could get hurt!’
Before he could get too far into the weeds though, the rest of the class started arriving. Thankfully, there were a few more-sensible costumes mixed in. Kyōka looked like she was just wearing punk clothes. Kaminari did as well, though he had an armored-looking leather jacket. Iida and Aoyama were both in full armor. Hell, even Katsuki’s costume was sensible… which infuriated Izuku because he recognized parts of the design – particularly the grenade gauntlets.
Mina’s costume was full sex appeal. She had a white domino mask, a fluffy jacket, and a purple-and-turquoise bodysuit that hugged her body just as much as Fuyumi’s did. Her long, prehensile tail was wiggling happily behind her. Camie was in a black catsuit unzipped to just below her breasts and a Shiketsu-style commissar hat. Yui’s was very much Ultraman inspired, being a red bodysuit not unlike Fuyumi’s. The red was much heavier than the white, and her costume also included a white skirt. She also had a style-matching hat.
The only one of the girls that was missing seemed to be Tōru. “DANG, your costumes are so sexy!” She suddenly appeared in their midst, raising a hand for a high-five with Mina. Her costume was pretty interesting. It was a bodysuit that was a light lavender in color, covered in tiny, hexagonal patterns. Unlike the other bodysuits which gave the girls almost full coverage, it was missing its shoulders and lower back, looking more like a sports bra from behind. Her elbows and calves were also bare, as were the majority of her thighs. Her boots only went up just shy of her knees. Even without her actively bothering with stealth, her boots made no noise at all. Izuku couldn’t hear her footsteps even when she stepped on loose gravel, and he was a damn werewolf!
But he definitely heard the ‘pyong!’ nearby, snapping his gaze in that direction just in time to watch a moon bunny leap from a building. ‘It’s her!’ He thought gleefully.
Miruko crashed down in front of them, grinning madly. “Finally, some fresh meat.”
“Holy hell, it’s really Miruko!” Several of the students squealed gleefully.
“That’s me!” The tanned beauty straightened up, revealing she was in her classic costume. Izuku twitched when he realized that she was not, in fact, an Amazon like he had thought. Quite the opposite, in fact, because she could have tickled his chin with the tips of her ears.
He still remembered how Nejire had chanted, “Moon Bunny! Moon Bunny!” eagerly before telling him about her. The next thing she said was just how much her kicks hurt.
Miruko put her hands on her hips, “Well, you lot passed Aizawa’s little test. Good job clearing the lowest bar we had.” Several people winced, causing her to laugh. “It’s only going to get tougher from here, so let’s not waste any time. Follow me.” She turned and walked into the city.
Iida chimed in as he jogged closer to her, “Miruko-sensei-”
“Just Miruko, brat. I ain’t got time or patience for formalities.” Miruko waved him off. “I’m a rude bitch. Say whatever you want, and if I think you’re out of line, I’ll just give you a light ass kicking.”
Iida seemed to be dividing by zero. “I- I mean- wha-” He shook himself as Miruko turned and gave him a glare. “This appears to be the same location where we had our entrance exams. Will we be doing outdoor battles with the robots again?” He managed to get out, looking incredibly uncomfortable.
“Ha!” Miruko laughed, “Nah, we ain’t got any time for that pansy shit. Robots ain’t a fuckin’ substitute for real villains.” Izuku smirked a little as several students balked, “Frankly, villain battles like that are usually against weaklings. Morons performing crimes of passion who escalate when they realize they’re already in trouble in an attempt to escape. It’s very rare for the strong villains to come out in broad daylight like that. Less rare than it was when All Might was still smashing-” More flinches, including Izuku this time, “But still rare. No, the villains you really have to worry about are the smart ones. The ones with dealings in the underground. In human trafficking. Drug dealing. Weapon smuggling. They’re the ones that probably already have body counts.”
“I-I see…” Iida still looked a bit uncomfortable with her mannerisms.
“So here’s what we’re going to do.” Miruko said, turning to them, “We’re going to split up into teams of four and have anti-personnel, four-v-four battles. And yes,” She grinned, “That means that one lucky team will have to go twice, and that one team will only have three members. Them’s the breaks in Heroism. Sometimes the only thing you want to do is crash on your bed, and the world tells you ‘Go fuck yourself, get back to work.’ Each team will be assigned to either the Hero role or the Villain role. Each villain team will have a scenario given to them, and the heroes will be given a scenario for stopping them. Whichever team fulfills their objectives first is the winner.”
“How will the teams be determined?” Izuku asked.
“Random lots. You don’t always get to pick your teams. Sometimes you get called in and have to team up with Heroes you don’t know or even don’t like. I don’t give a fuck and neither does the world. You just have to deal with it.”
Yui raised her hand, that same calm look as always on her face, “Are we risking expulsion like with Aizawa-sensei?” She asked quietly.
“First,” Miruko pointed at her, “You’re going to have to learn to speak up. I can hear you fine. That isn’t the case for everyone.” Yui emoted for the first time, pouting slightly. “Second, yes, I have the same ability to expel students as Aizawa does. I rarely use it, but if I think you’re a total waste of effort, a loose cannon, or just here because you want fuckin’ groupies or some other non-heroic reason, I’ll put my foot to your ass.” Several of the students paled drastically. She laughed at their reactions, “Again, I rarely do that. I’ve been doing this teaching shit for three years. In that time, I’ve only expelled one student, and it was for being a pervy little shit just like the little gremlin Aizawa got rid of yesterday.” Several of the students sighed in relief.
Miruko pointed at one of the buildings. “This building here is the situation room the rest of us will be observing from. Let’s hop in and see what your teams will be.”
A few minutes later, they were in the massive situation room, awing over all of the monitors. Miruko went to the computer and brought up the class list. “Here we go. All nineteen of you.” She pressed a button, “Team one will be… Midoriya, Yaoyorozu, Hagakure. Team two will be… Kōda, Jirō, Aoyama, Shōda. Team three: Todoroki, Sato, Shōji, Kirishima. Team four, Bakugō, Ashido, Tokoyami, Kaminari. And finally, team five will be Utsushimi, Iida, Kodai, and Sero. Go ahead and group up.”
Izuku bit back a chuckle, ‘Of course my team would be the one with three. And if I know my luck and/or the System, we’re going to be the ones going twice too.’ He smiled at Momo and Tōru, “Looking forward to working with you.”
“Same here, Midori!” Tōru turned to Momo, “Let’s kick some butt, Yaomomo!”
A brilliant smile crossed her face, and she hopped on her heels, giggling in excitement, “Oooh, I love that nickname! Let’s!”
“Alright, so them’s the squads.” Miruko grinned at them, “So, your primary focus will, of course, be your missions. However, I will also be grading you on your teamwork. Like I said, I don’t give a fuck if you like each other. If I have to deal with team ups, then you do too. No one gives a shit if you like it or not. The mission comes first. Is that clear?” She said, looking around at all of them. No one missed her red eyes lingering on Katsuki for a moment. “Good. Your secondary focuses will be on your costumes. It’s pretty fucking rare to get those right the first time. There’s always going to be stuff you don’t think of and room for improvement. Don’t be stubborn. If you realize something needs to change, change it. We have a well-equipped support department. So, with that all out of the way, are we ready?”
“Yes!” The class called out determinedly.
“Good.” Miruko grinned, “Then the first match shall be…Team lucky number one versus… team four!”
‘Of fucking course.’ Half the room thought. To their surprise, Izuku had just as much of a bloodthirsty grin on his face as Katsuki did. Katsuki’s smile outright fell slightly when he turned to catch Izuku’s gaze and saw him looking just as eager.
“So now, I’ll give you your scenario!” Miruko said, before pointing at Bakugō’s group. “You lot are the villains here, and your goal is to rob a bank.” She said, “The schematics will be provided for you to read. Your starting point will be a van in a nearby alleyway and there will be masks to hide your faces inside. There will be animatronics inside the bank for you to take hostage. Your goal is to break into the vault and make out with all of the money inside, conveniently already bagged up for transport. Once you enter the bank, you will have a five-minute window before a bank employee ‘succeeds’ in sending out the silent alarm. Victory will be declared if you can manage to get all of your ill-gotten goods back to your van.”
“Hey, wait a minute!” Mina blurted, “You totally got this from Payday 2!” Several of the class started to laugh, including Miruko herself.
“Bwahahaha! Guilty!” She cackled which got even more of them to laugh.
Kyōka grinned, “I will give you my all, pretty baby! I’ll come whenever you call for me, baby, yeah!” She started to sing.
Half the class and Miruko sang along, “I will give you the best of me! The best of me! The best of meee!” It was so off-tune and awful that even the more serious members of the class were laughing.
“Ah, that was great! I like you guys already!” Miruko chuckled at their excitement before focusing up. “Now, the Heroes are there to prevent the robbery and ensure the safety of the citizens. You win by capturing all four villains, saving the hostages, and preventing the robbery.” She grinned maliciously and wagged her finger in their direction, “And here’s the kicker. Heroes are always on the back foot. The villains can straight up deny a total Hero Team victory by killing the hostages. Be warned, however, that doing so will have consequences, as there always are when villains start killing innocent people. Even most actual villains try to avoid killing innocents. If you do kill hostages and get captured, you’ll not only get a zero for today’s class, but you’ll be starting your career here at U.A. in the negatives. The absolute highest score you’ll be able to get this term will be an eighty. So I would think twice, if I were you, otherwise you might end up failing this class.”
Almost everyone looked pale. Miruko clapped, “Well, that’s it. Villains, take this door down and follow the bot. Heroes, take this one down and look at the provided map. You’ll have fifteen minutes from the moment the villains arrive at their van to familiarize yourselves with each other’s Quirks. Prepare whatever you wish during that time. You may ONLY move once the silent alarm is sent out, which I will announce. The rest of us will be up here watching the video feed. And don’t worry, RG is on standby for any injuries. We won’t have any audio here, but it WILL be recorded.” She smirked, “Good luck~”
…
Izuku, Momo, and Tōru were waiting at their starting point. The exercise hadn’t started yet, and they still had their full fifteen minutes to prepare. “So, I know we saw a lot of what we can do during Aizawa-sensei’s test but now would be the time to say if we have any other tricks.”
Tōru raised her hand, “I can make other things invisible too.”
“Ooh, that should be useful!” Momo said. When Tōru didn’t have anything more to add, Momo went next, “My Quirk is Creation, as you know. Whatever I know the molecular structure of, I can produce from my own body. As Izukun knows, it must come from my skin. Additionally, I have another ability that cannot actually be seen. If I touch something and focus, I can read its molecular structure perfectly and store a blueprint of it in my head permanently. I can even read some of its history for things like keypads. My creations are made from my lipids, so I do actually have a limit to what I can create. Anything huge is also difficult, since, again, it must come from my body. What about you, Izukun?”
Izuku nodded, “You girls know about all the abilities I showed yesterday, even if you don’t know the details of them. However, I have several other abilities as well.” This was something he had discussed extensively with Nezu. It was going to be impossible to hide the fact that he got new powers every time he achieved something. His classmates would know for certain. “I’ll be blunt. My powers are so bullshit that Nezu-sensei has classified them and given them Black status.” Momo’s eyes widened and her jaw dropped. “I’ll be able to share more on my powers soon, but only if I want to and trust you. You also have to know just what Black status means before I do. We will be having an early lesson on Op-Sec tomorrow so that those who don’t know what that means can learn. For now, all I can say is that I have my super strength, speed, regeneration, transformation, a video-game-like inventory, and can purge myself and others of things like poisons. I can also release a bunch of ravens from my body for scouting purposes.” He smirked, “I also know some things that you would call legitimate magic spells, and I have a pair of swords that are also magical in nature.” He finished, not mentioning the lactation. They didn’t need to know that. He also didn’t bother mentioning the Tinkering ability, since that would be pretty useless here.
“What the fuck?!” Tōru blurted, “How the hell do you have so dang many abilities? How the hell does that work?!”
Izuku shook his head, “Like I said, Hagakure-chan. Black Status. To give you the long and short of it, it’s the equivalent of breaking a beyond-ironclad NDA. You’ll get more details on it tomorrow in class.”
“…Holy shit Midori…” Tōru was shook.
Izuku smiled at her, “Just don’t worry about it for now. Let’s focus on capturing the villains.”
“R-Right.” Tōru nodded slowly. She was super curious, but blabbing seemed like a bad thing. She would just try not to think too hard on it for now.
“Agreed.” Momo smiled, “So, do either of you have any requests for me? I can use this time to start creating.”
Izuku opened his mouth to say no. He had his swords, after all. But then he paused, closing his mouth as he thought about it. Swords were obviously super dangerous. He could maim someone. And as much as he wanted to beat Katsuki’s ass today, he didn’t want to dismember him. Then he thought back to the singalong upstairs and a devious grin crossed his face. “Yeah, I have something you could make me.”
A moment later, both Tōru and Momo burst out laughing.
…
“So, what’s the plan?” Mina asked, eyeing Katsuki, Kaminari, and Tokoyami. She was very much not happy about being put in a team with the ash-blonde, but it was like Miruko said: She’d have to deal with it. “Looks like the vault is in the basement. There’s a lift we can use to get all the loot up. There’s also a second floor.”
“Deku, Ponytail, and Invis will be coming from this direction.” With the way Miruko of all Heroes damn near singled him out, he was aware that his U.A. career had somehow already started off on the wrong foot. He was absolutely going to crush this lesson, even if it meant not being able to personally crush Deku. He was going to be the fucking best. No matter how much he wished to just kill Deku, he couldn’t have an L on his column. “Of the three, only Deku is probably any danger in direct combat. Ponytail won’t be able to use any dangerous tricks, if she has any. Invis didn’t manage to get much force on the impact tester either. We should aim to take him out first.” He could still make it more likely that he’d face him, of course. “And I’ll crush him.”
‘Well, that was almost pleasant.’ Kaminari deadpanned to himself, not saying a word about how he thought such a fight would go. “I think we should rule out any hostage danger.” He said, “Even if we’re just pretending to be villains, that seems like a step too far. Get them all out of the way and tie them up.”
“Agreed. I can take care of the vault.” Mina said, “Sensei provided us with these drills, but I can just melt my way through. Just might take me some time.”
“We should endeavor to find a way to cut the power to the building.” Tokoyami chimed in for the first time. “My strength only increases in the darkness.”
“I can handle that.” Kaminari grinned, “I can eat electricity. I’ll drain so much the breaker will melt.”
“Good.” Katsuki said, a feral grin crossing his face. “Alright then, Pikachu and I can post up near the entrance and face them outside after we get started.” Kaminari’s right eyebrow twitched. “Racoon Eyes can go for the vault. Bird Brain will stay in the building and keep watch over the hostages.”
Mina bit back a growl. Fucking Racoon Eyes? ‘Why did I have to get stuck with this cunt?’ She lamented. “Fine with me.” She grinned and grabbed the masks, “Heh, I like this one.” She grabbed a ‘Dallas’ mask. Kaminari smirked and grabbed a ‘Megadeath’ mask. Katsuki slipped an ‘Oni’ mask onto his face. Tokoyami stayed without one, due to his face being, well, a crow.
“BEGIN!” Miruko’s voice called out, and the group burst from the van and raced up the steps to the bank.
“This is a FUCKING robbery! On the ground!” Katsuki roared, letting out a couple of explosions. The droids were programmed to react and they all dropped to the ground. Other robots were ‘security’ and they activated. Kaminari leapt into action, bolts of lightning knocking their guns away. Katsuki had them all on the ground with quick punches right after.
Mina even leapt through the security glass dividing the ‘workers’ from the others. “Hands up!” She yelled, “And back away from the desks!” They all obeyed instructions. A door opened with another ‘security’ droid coming through, and Mina moved quickly. She wrapped her tail around its throat and grabbed the gun, melting it with her Quirk. She lifted it off the ground until it ‘passed out.’ The four of them (and Dark Shadow) made quick work of them, tying them up with the provided rope and getting them into the corner.
“Phase one, complete.” Kaminari grinned.
“Got the key for the lift.” Mina said, heading over there. “Kaminari, go get the power out. Bakugō, go post up outside. Keep your walkie-talkies on you in case something goes wrong.”
“Don’t have to fucking tell me twice.” Katsuki stalked back out.
Mina took the lift down with her new key and smirked when she saw the vault. “How the heck were we supposed to open these with drills?” She asked in amusement.
Miruko’s voice came on, “Vaults are actually really sensitive and drilling a small hole through one hurts their egos.”
Mina started to cackle at her teacher’s joke. “Right.” She grinned at the vault, “Well then.” A violet miasma started to rise from her skin as she turned on the acidity. The fumes started to collect and solidify into a ghostly, violet suit of acidic armor around her. She pressed into the vault and grinned wider when she heard it start to sizzle.
…
“Hero team, get your asses in gear!” Miruko yelled once the five minutes were up.
“Ready?” Izuku asked.
“Ready!” Tōru and Momo said… with the lightest of blushes on their cheeks.
“Then hold on tight.” Izuku said before grabbing both of them in tight hugs and lifting them off their feet. Their blushes got darker as they wrapped their legs around him. He took off into the air, and Tōru couldn’t help but contain the whoop of glee that escaped her.
“What a rush!” Momo got out, though it was barely heard through the rushing winds.
“Way faster than I can fly!” Tōru cheered as they sailed through the air.
Izuku grinned as he leapt from building to building. Unlike what the villains were expecting, Izuku was not rushing them directly to the bank. Oh no, that was way too obvious. He was coming in at a diamond-like pattern so that they’d hit the bank from behind and get on the roof. Momo and Tōru would continue in from there, while Izuku would surprise the vanguard from behind.
Their plan worked perfectly, and they were able to land on the roof without issue. He released the two women and Momo immediately went to the door, touching the electronic keypad. Her eyes widened, “It’s dead. The power is out.”
Izuku took out his blade. A quick swipe through the door had the locking lug in pieces and the door swung open. “Thanks, Midori.” Tōru grinned, “Let’s go, Momo.” She grabbed the busty ravenette’s hand and turned the both of them invisible.
Izuku walked over to the front of the building and grinned when he saw exactly what his nose had expected: Kaminari and Katsuki were both facing the street, looking confused at how long it was taking them to get there. He jumped down and landed lightly, but not lightly enough.
Kaminari whipped around, “Shi-” He yelled as he formed an Electrobarrier in front of him. Izuku’s upper body was covered with the fur of his hybrid wolf form as his fist plowed through Kaminari’s barrier. “-T!” His fist hit Kaminari’s face and sent him flying. It was greatly weakened from Kaminari’s great shield, and Izuku felt electricity coursing painfully through his arm, but it was still a hard enough of a hit to launch the blonde off the steps and into a car down in the street.
Izuku immediately cartwheeled away from an explosive blast. “DEKU!” Katsuki snarled, “Where the fuck did you come from?!”
“The roof.” Izuku said with a grin.
Katsuki returned it, looking manic. “Well, good. You came right to me. It’s time I give you what you deserve, you shitty nerd!”
“That’s what she said.” Izuku said, and Katsuki froze. Izuku’s grin widened, “Also.” He reached into his inventory and pulled out the perfect implement of battle that Momo had made for him. “Square the fuck up, thot.” Nejire had given him that line for when he inevitably fought his old friend, and he had laughed himself hoarse.
Katsuki’s right eye twitched. “You’re just fucking with me, aren’t you?” He hissed out as he glared death at Izuku.
Izuku held his Comically Large Spoon™ like a sword.
…
Over at the viewing area, Miruko was laughing so hard she was having to hold herself up. “Oh fuck, I’m sooooo fucking glad I took this job.” The rest of the class howled along with her.
…
“Up.” Izuku said, “I’m going to fuck you up.” He launched himself forward as Katsuki let out an inarticulate scream of rage and threw himself into battle. And immediately, Izuku was disappointed. ‘Three years since I’ve seen you, and you still lead with that right hook.’ He somersaulted over Katsuki and smashed his spoon into the other man’s grenade gauntlet. With his enhanced strength, the composite material shattered instantly.
“Ah, fuck!” Katsuki yelled as his arm throbbed. He blew up again, swiping his arm and sending the remaining shards right at Izuku. His eyes widened as Izuku misted and the shards went right through him. “What the fuck?!”
Izuku raced towards him, silver mist surrounding him like a miasma as Katsuki tried again and again to blast him with his explosions. Izuku’s body contorted as he dodged and weaved and didn’t lose a step. Katsuki’s eyes widened as he tried to jump back, but it was too late. Izuku’s kick landed right in his stomach and made his face whiten from the pain. He was launched back and off the steps, landing in the streets and rolling a few times.
He hacked and coughed as he forced himself to his feet, spittle coming from his lips. “You thought it was going to be the same as always, huh?” Izuku stalked forward, “But the only one who is the same is you, Kacchan. Still leading with that obvious right hook.”
Katsuki felt something cold go through him and his rate of sweating increased. It just felt cold all of a sudden. ‘H-he didn’t just react? He read my move?!’
Izuku suddenly dodged away from a bolt of lightning. “Heh, aren’t you forgetting someone, Midoriya?!” Kaminari growled. He had a hand on a power pole and electricity was gushing from it and into his hand. His other hand was aimed right at Izuku. “Lightning Rockets!” He yelled before a trio of spiraling balls of electricity launched forward.
Izuku ran, leaping down the steps to street level. The rockets hit the steps and exploded with powerful bursts of electricity, shattering the masonry and sending shards of it everywhere.
“What the fuck, Pikachu?! He’s mine!” Katsuki yelled.
“I don’t think he wants you!” Kaminari yelled back, his face deadpan behind his mask. He started climbing the pole to get a better vantage among the wires.
“Hell no.” Izuku agreed. Dodging the explosive darts Katsuki was shooting at him from his not-quite-injured arm.
“Looks like he has no ranged options!” Kaminari called out as he started Electrodrifting on the power wires and firing bursts of electricity at Izuku, keeping him on his toes.
Katsuki was just getting more and more furious. First with the fact that fucking Deku could actually fight, and well enough to get at least one hit in on him, and second for the fact that fucking Pikachu was interfering in his battle!
“Tokoyami has been captured!” Miruko announced.
Katsuki froze before he let out another inarticulate roar as he exploded his hands and feet, launching himself at Izuku.
Kaminari cursed as he was forced to stop firing. He didn’t want to be penalized for hurting a teammate. He watched as Katsuki attacked again and again, throwing explosive crosses, hooks, jabs, roundhouses, compass kicks; everything he could think of to knock Deku’s smug smirk off his face. Explosions that rocked the fake city rang out again and again, blowing away windows and causing heaps and heaps of collateral damage.
And Izuku didn’t care one bit. He blocked with his Comically Large Spoon™ as often as he needed to. Katsuki was slowly starting to fill up with bruises that he would be feeling tomorrow all over his arms, chest, leg, and even face. The clang that rang out when Izuku smacked him full-on in the cheek and sent him flying just had to be heard. In the viewing room, half the class winced. They were pretty sure they saw teeth fly.
But it also meant that Izuku was now away from Katsuki, and Kaminari was free to act. He used Arc Lightning down at a car. It electrified, detonated the gas tank, and the lightning jumped to another car. And another. And then it reached the car Izuku had just landed near. Another explosion rang out as a conflagration hit Izuku in the back. “Take that!” Kaminari yelled.
And then his jaw dropped as Izuku leapt from the flames, “You’ll have to do better than that, Kaminari!”
Well, alright then. Electricity started to build in front of him. “Shockwave!” Kaminari yelled, a wide wave of electromagnetic energy shooting at Izuku. Izuku’s eyes went wide, and he yelped as he was sent flying backwards. “OH SHIT!” He screamed in horror as Izuku hit an exploded car and was impaled on a jagged shard of metal. “Oh, I’m going to be sick.” He whimpered as even Katsuki stared in horror.
“EVERYONE STOP RIGHT FUCKING NOW!” Miruko screamed as, for the first time in three years, she had a true disaster injury to deal with.
“I’m fine!” Izuku yelled as he cried out in pain and pushed himself off the shard. He grumbled, “So much for armor.” He said as he ripped the rest of it off, leaving his upper body exposed. “Guess this it’s better anyway.” Everyone gasped as the horrendous wound rippled as it closed up, leaving him without even a scar. He patted his abs, “Fucking hurt though…”
…
“Holy fucking shit!” The class whispered to themselves, awestruck.
Kyōka let out a whimper and rubbed her thighs together. “That’s so fucking metal.” She said in awe.
Miruko’s dusky skin had paled so drastically almost all her tan had vanished. She had almost looked yellowish. Her knees had even wobbled. Now, as her color returned, her red eyes were almost glowing. “If you want to bow out, Midoriya, no one will think anything ill of you.”
…
“Nah.” Izuku stretched out, before grinning, “I’m just getting started.” He said, not knowing he had just severely intensified the bunny goddess’s interest in fighting him. Kaminari and Katsuki were covered in cold sweat.
“Alright then.” Miruko purred. “The battle may resume.”
…
Inside the bank, Momo and Tōru were quietly making their way through. Already, they could hear the sounds of fighting outside from the still-open door. “Sounds like he’s having fun.” Momo muttered.
Tōru was grinning widely. She and Momo were the only ones who could see each other. “What’s the plan?” She whispered.
“I think I know who is inside.” Momo replied. “This darkness implies that Tokoyami is the one we will be facing. And I have the perfect plan for him.”
Tōru nodded with an ‘Un.’ They quietly went until they came to the lobby. “Looks like it is Tokoyami-kun.” She whispered, creating a sound-blocking force field around them.
“Perfect.” Momo said, stripping off her leotard’s top.
Tōru blushed like hell as she stared, noticing Momo had pasties on so that she wasn’t actually fully flashing her. Still, the beautiful yamato nadeshiko hadn’t hesitated for a second before baring herself! Momo got on her hands and knees as her back began to warp. A light projector started to pop out of her back. And then a fully charged battery followed. The two took a moment to set it up and aim it at Tokoyami before Tōru dropped her invisibility.
The bird-headed man actually let out a hiss of pain as the heinously powerful light shone on him. The fact that it had been so dark made it even worse for him. He flung his cape up to try to block the rays, but Tōru had them under her control. The light surrounded and practically swam around him, severely weakening Dark Shadow until the sentient Quirk was hiding inside her partner’s clothes. Momo rushed forward wearing a set of extremely powerful welding goggles. She grabbed Tokoyami’s arm and executed a textbook judo throw. With the bird on the ground, she turned him onto his stomach and Tōru clapped the Capture Tape they had been provided around him.
“Tokoyami has been captured!” Miruko announced.
Tōru immediately used a small force field to disconnect the battery from the projector. “Sorry, Tokoyami-kun.” The invisible woman said.
Tokoyami groaned, “To think my weakness could be turned upon me this harshly.” He was severely disappointed in his performance. “I was meant to revel in the dark, not bathe in this dreadful light.”
Momo and Tōru sweatdropped.
…
“Shit!” Mina cried out. “And I just got through too!” She looked at the giant bags of ‘money’ in the vault she had just managed to open a giant hole in with her acid. “Well, crap, I can’t get all of this up myself. I need the team. What the hell is happening up there?”
She would have to go find out. There was a set of stairs, but it only opened from the basement. She would have to try to get the drop on whoever was upstairs. She raced up the steps, taking care to be quiet, and inched the door open. She peeked through and saw that Momo and Tōru were trying to get the elevator to open. She also saw that Tokoyami was tied up and forgotten and let out a grin. Captured teammates couldn’t release themselves but could be released.
She started to inch the door open more and thanked her well-developed night vision. Suddenly, she froze as Miruko screamed. “EVERYONE STOP RIGHT FUCKING NOW!”
Unknown to her, Momo and Tōru were thinking the exact same thing: ‘What the hell happened?’ It quickly became clear that something had caused Midori to get hurt, which worried the Heroes and Mina alike. When Miruko gave them leave to pick things up again, Mina almost crawled her way to Tokoyami as Momo and Tōru continued to mess with the elevator. Momo was creating a key for it after having gotten the schematics using her Quirk.
He smirked when he saw her. In a second, he was free, and Miruko announced, “Tokoyami is back in the game!”
“What?!” Tōru and Momo whipped around, gasping in horror as they saw Tokoyami and Mina standing there, menacingly. And then Dark Shadow rose, bigger than they had ever seen her.
“Should have secured your targets better, Heroes.” Tokoyami intoned before Dark Shadow let out a maniacal laugh and charged at them.
“Shoot!” Tōru gasped as she threw up a force field. She grunted as Dark Shadow crashed into it, unable to get through but also pushing her back.
“I’ve got this!” Momo created a small (relatively) flashlight and aimed it at Dark Shadow. Only the light stopped right at Tōru’s force field. “Oh no!”
“Sorry, can’t help it doing that!” Tōru winced as she started to strain under the rampaging Quirk.
Momo ran out from behind it, hoping to shine the light on Dark Shadow enough that Tōru could push it back. “Oh no you don’t!” Mina yelled and splattered the large light with a small glob of acid.
Momo dropped it immediately, not wanting any of that on her. She instantly created a paintball gun loaded with bearing balls instead. They would fire at a safe velocity. She aimed, firing at both Mina and Tokoyami, hoping to disrupt them enough that she’d have another chance with the flashlight.
“Nope!” Mina grinned, forming a violet, acidic shield in front of them that practically ate the bearing balls the second they touched it. Clearly her acid didn’t much care for ‘realism.’ She had a mad grin on her face as she charged forward, “Get over here, Yaomomo!”
“No thanks!” With a mental ‘good luck’ to Tōru, she ran to the left and into a side hall, grinning when Mina followed. Instantly, a rain of ball bearings started to pour from her back, sides, and thighs.
“WOAH!” Mina cried as she instantly started to slip and slide on the small balls. But she didn’t fall, causing Momo’s eyes to widen in surprise. Mina apparently had insane balance. She raised her ‘paintball’ gun because Mina wasn’t exactly stable, only for her jaw to drop as Mina’s tail cleared enough of the bearings for her to be able to take a step. And then Mina threw herself forward, onto the bearings, and slid towards Momo.
Momo let out a squeak of shock as she tried to back away, only for Mina to throw herself into a breakdancing move and kick at her. She managed to get a shield out of her arm, but the force behind Mina’s kick was insane for how little leverage she had. Momo let out a cry of pain as she side-flipped onto her front.
“Sorry, Yaomomo!” Mina grinned as her tail grabbed Momo’s legs and wrapped them up. She grabbed Momo’s arm to get her ready for the Capture Tape. Momo panicked and created the first thing that came to mind: the prongs of a taser directly into Mina’s tail. “YEOW!” Mina screamed and threw herself away. It wasn’t enough to make her muscles lock up due to her physiology, but it hurt like hell.
Momo managed to get to her feet and pulled a ceramic-like staff from her tummy, knowing it would be acid resistant. She skillfully thrusted at Mina, but apparently Mina hadn’t gotten the memo. She grabbed the staff, and it instantly melted. “That was acid resistant!” Momo blurted in shock as she threw herself back.
“Heh, say it with me, Yaomomo! ‘Quirks are bullshit!’” Mina grinned widely as they reset, “So what now?” She asked teasingly, a drop of pale pink acid dripping from her fingers, “Wanna throw in the towel for me?”
“No, thank you!” Momo said, surprising Mina by punching at her.
“YEOW!” Mina cried out again as a ball bearing shot out of Momo’s fist and beaned her right in the boob. “OWOWOWOWOW! What the hell, Momo?!” She squeezed the area in pain.
“SORRY!” Momo yelped, “That was supposed to hit your forehead!”
“Grrr!” Mina growled and started chasing her again.
…
Tōru was not having any luck with Tokoyami. She had managed to dodge Dark Shadow and thanked everything that Mina had followed Momo instead of ganging up on her. She knew her partner wouldn’t have left if that had happened, so at least she didn’t have to worry about being double teamed. She vanished, trusting her ability to sneak.
“I will not fall for that again.” Tokoyami intoned, sending Dark Shadow right for the huge light that Momo had originally created. The massive Quirk crushed it under her paw.
‘Wasn’t going for it!’ Tōru thought to herself with a hidden grin. In fact, she was actually running at Tokoyami. Her fist had a force field wrapped around it and she bashed Tokoyami right in the jaw. The man let out a squawk of shock and pain as he reared back, clutching his beak. Tōru hauled ass to get away, and she was right to do so.
“Fumi!” Dark Shadow cried out as her partner was assaulted, surging back over and whipping around Tokoyami and trying to knock Tōru out in one blow.
‘Well, that’s not going to work twice.’ Tōru winced, seeing that Dark Shadow was hovering protectively. ‘And even with my force fields, I don’t exactly hit that hard.’ She’d had a middling score on the punching machine, at best. Higher than most of the people in dead last, but nowhere near enough to take Tokoyami out apparently. She could fire her force fields at range, but they were even weaker then than they were if she actually punched something and added her muscle to it. She really wasn’t sure what she was going to do when something else happened.
“Bakugō has been eliminated!” Miruko called out. Not captured. Eliminated. That only happened if they were knocked out cold.
Tōru grinned as her opponents cursed. ‘Well, looks like Izu-kun is having fun.’ She thought as she circled Tokoyami and launched a blow at the back of his head. As expected, it did way less than her punch, but this was where she shone. If she couldn’t beat him outright she’d outlast him. And as she managed to gather the fallen Capture Tape right out from under their noses and escaped, she wondered to herself when would be the best moment to attempt a capture again.
…
“What the fuck?” Katsuki breathed out, still looking a little green. “I thought your Quirk was that transformation!”
Izuku grinned smugly, “I never said that, Kacchan.” And it was time he showed off another of his tricks.
“CAW, CAW, CAW” The ravens cried out as his body dissolved into them, shocking almost all the onlookers out of their gourds. The fluttering birds and falling feathers created hell for the two enemies as the birds attacked. Katsuki started blasting, but they were spread out enough that he barely singed some feathers. Kaminari had it even worse, trying to use his Shockwave and Arc Lightning to get a bunch of them at once, but the ravens were too smart and agile, dodging nimbly.
He didn’t even notice Izuku reforming out of a bunch of them behind him up until he felt the agony of a Comically Large Spoon™ smacking right into his spine and flinging him off the pole and to the ground. He crashed into a car so hard the thing lifted off its wheels before falling down. “You guys look tiny down there!” Izuku taunted as the rest of the crows entered his body. He’d lost only five, so he had taken a hit, but not much of one. He was crouching down on top of the pole, the sun at his back, and casting a shadow across them.
Katsuki’s remaining gauntlet dinged. “Heh.” He forced out a laugh, hating the fact he’d been brought this low by Deku of all people. “After all those creepy stalker notes you took on us, I’m sure you know, but my glands secrete something like nitroglycerin. Assuming they honored my request, this gauntlet’s been storing that fluid.”
Izuku immediately lost his grin, standing straight and stowing his spoon. He summoned Rellana’s Twin Blades, knowing he’d need them to pull this off. He was nowhere near far enough to be casting Carian Sorceries raw. He could barely manage a Swift Glintstone Shard without the sword enhancing his ability to cast them. Nejire was farther along than him in learning the Carian and Glintstone sorceries.
Katsuki raised his hand to the pin and hooked his finger around it. “Take this, De-!” He stopped, his jaw opened in shock as he saw what Izuku did.
Izuku had floated up, his body morphing into mist and practically disappearing as what looked like the dark side of the moon appeared in his place. Except it looked that way from all angles and wisps of frost were falling off of it.
Katsuki pulled the pin, a colossal explosion that could have easily taken out a skyscraper shooting at Izuku. The moon shot forward, as Izuku fell out from where it had been floating. It ate the explosion, leaving just tiny motes of flame as it plowed through it. Katsuki didn’t have a chance to get out of the way as the freaking moon crashed into him and erupted. Katsuki screamed in pain as he was shot back, his body now covered in frost. He struggled to get to his feet, now so cold that he could feel his Quirk not working.
Izuku landed in front of him, the wisps of mist surrounding him. “I told you, didn’t I?” He said, “That I’d show you what this ‘Quirkless little shit’ could do.” A fanged grin crossed his lips as he saw the defeat in Katsuki’s eyes. “Night, night, Kacchan.” A fist thundered into Katsuki’s jaw, knocking him out cold.
As Miruko announced Katsuki’s defeat, he made the mistake of looking at his system message.
[Feat Achieved! The Host has overcome his painful childhood and delivered a painful lesson to his old friend-turned-bully. Silver Skill Ticket rewarded!]
He only got about halfway through the message when Kaminari blasted him in the face with a lightning bolt and tossed him for a loop. Izuku shook his head and winced at the pain before his regeneration dulled it. After casting Ranni’s Dark Moon, he was pretty damn tired, and taking lightning bolts to the face definitely wasn’t going to help him at all. He rolled out of the way of another bolt and got to his feet.
Kaminari kept firing at him, his hand on another power pole. ‘Just keep firing! He has to get tired eventually! He doesn’t have any real ranged attacks! Just keep him at a distance!’ He had not, in fact, seen Izuku use his attack. He’d been too busy eating pavement after Izuku had put him nearly through a car. Izuku summoned his blades once more, making Kaminari’s eyes bulge as he used Carian Sovereignty. “…What the fuck.” It was just a distraction, as Izuku also summoned a Carian Phalanx, the trio of Glintblades floating above him.
Izuku brought the blade down, slicing the pole in half straight down the middle as Kaminari screamed and tossed himself away. He spun and did a wide sweep with the giant blade, cutting a car in half as his opponent ducked and rolled. The first of the Glintblades shot forward. Izuku had purposefully made them brittle for this. It hit the rolling Kaminari in the shoulder and immediately shattered, depositing all of its force into his body and sending him flying.
He landed roughly, away from any electricity he could ‘eat’ to regenerate himself. Izuku landed above him, easily forcing his hands behind him and wrapping them with the Capture Tape. “Good fight, Kaminari.” He told the exhausted blonde.
“You’re a monster, bro.” Kaminari replied weakly. “Glad you’re on our side.” Izuku smirked as he saw a second Silver Skill Ticket be rewarded for winning his first two-on-one fight.
Izuku expected Miruko to announce that Kaminari had been captured. He got an unpleasant shout instead. “Yaoyorozu has been captured!” Izuku cursed, before Miruko announced what he had expected.
It was now two-on-two, and Izuku was still feeling fairly tired from having to cast Ranni’s Dark Moon. He rushed inside, hoping to back Tōru up. He burst into the bank and Dark Shadow let out an exasperated, “For fuck’s sake!” The sentient Quirk raced for Izuku, knowing full well that they needed to take one of them out, at least.
Izuku spread his arms, igniting his blades in dark fire and moonlight. Dark Shadow hissed, recoiling from the light. She swept back, and Tōru let out a shocked squeak as Dark Shadow incidentally bashed into her, sending her flying painfully into a pillar. Tōru had tried to use the distraction to tie Tokoyami’s wrists and had paid for it. “Tōru!” Izuku gasped as she fell to the ground and groaned.
“Whoops.” Dark Shadow mumbled sheepishly. She shook herself, “I mean, I meant to do that.”
Izuku growled, sending a bright wave of moonlight cutting straight through the sentient Quirk. Dark Shadow screamed as she immediately started to shrink. Tokoyami gasped, “Dark Shadow!” She managed to dodge the second and third blasts of moonlight, racing for Izuku and deciding to just go for an all-or-nothing knockout. It was the only thing she could do. Izuku spun around, swiping his fiery blade, and Dark Shadow screeched as a small flamenado surrounded Izuku, before dozens of smaller bursts of fire erupted from the ground. Tokoyami even hissed, falling onto his back as an eruption came too close to him and the heat singed his feathers. Izuku was on him a moment later, his fist dropping right where Tōru had nailed him the first time.
“Tokoyami has been eliminated!” Miruko shouted as the bird man was knocked out cold.
Izuku ran over to Tōru, “Are you okay?”
“Ribs hurt.” Tōru got out, grimacing. Her breathing was rather ragged. She had been caught completely by surprise and hadn’t been able to raise even a token defense. She was the definition of a glass cannon.
Izuku swore, wishing he had some sort of way to heal that didn’t involve fucking. He felt her ribs and back and sighed in relief that nothing felt broken or out of place. She did let out a cry, which told them that there was at least some heavy bruising, if not a fracture. “Sit tight. This should be over soon.” He promised, before racing for the other two signatures he could sense.
Momo and Mina had ended up upstairs before Mina had captured the busty woman, and she had been trying to think of a plan when the announcement came that she was alone. “Shit!” She could only prepare to fight.
Izuku burst up the stairs in a single bound, and Mina wasted no time throwing some painful acid at him. Izuku phased through it in his mist form and continued charging. Mina didn’t skip a beat, squaring up and coating her fists in acid. They mutually punched each other, but Izuku phased right through her. ‘He can’t attack like this!’ Mina realized instantly the second she felt no pain. Which meant that punch had been a total feint. Her tail whipped, and she was rewarded with a cry of pain.
“GAH!” Izuku reared back, clutching a bleeding eye.
“Oh shit! Midori!” Mina panicked. She hadn’t meant to blind him!
Izuku dropped his hand and Mina gasped (both in relief and in dumbfounded shock) as his destroyed eye regenerated. “Accidents happen. Just be mindful of that tail.” The immersion was completely broken for a moment as neither reacted. “Others can’t heal their eyes like I can.”
“Oh thank fuck.” Mina put a hand to her heart. “I would have felt awful if I blinded you by accident!”
“Just be more careful.” Izuku repeated, “Now, where were we?”
Oh right. They were fighting. Mina let out a shriek and cartwheeled backwards as Izuku threw a roundhouse kick at her. She flung acid at him with her feet, now knowing he could regenerate, and winced as he let out a hiss of agony. He transformed into his wolf form, racing at her and snapping at her with his jaws.
Mina knew he wouldn’t really hurt her, but that growl triggered every ancient ‘prey instinct’ in her body. She locked up, and he phased through her for the second time, transforming back to fully human in an instant. His arm wrapped around her neck and he fell back, hooking his heels between her legs. It was a picture-perfect rear naked choke with hooks. Except he put zero pressure on her at all. “Tap. I could quite literally rip you in half like this.” He wasn’t sure why she suddenly blushed lavender, but she quickly tapped out. Miruko announced the end of the trial, and he earned himself a third ticket, this time a Gold Ability ticket for having taken out all four ‘enemies’ at least once.
He had no way of knowing that she had immediately thought, ‘Holy shit, that’s not the only way you could rip me in half!’ upon feeling him on her butt. She had tapped immediately, knowing he had not been lying after watching him perform in all of Aizawa’s tests. She grinned in exhaustion, “I could have fucked you up though.” She said, before Izuku felt her tail wrap around his neck. He was jerked slightly, his eye stopping right at the tip of her horn. Both eyes went wide as Mina grinned, “Not anything for school, but any villains that try that are in for a bad day. Also, I could have just covered myself in acid, so grabbing me like this at all is a baaaad idea.” She grinned wildly at him.
Izuku laughed as they disentangled themselves. “You’re awesome, Ashido-chan!”
“That’s Mina to you, buster!” She poked him in the chest.
Izuku chuckled, “Mina then. Let’s go free everyone. I need to make sure Tōru sees Recovery Girl.”
“Ya, that looked like a bad hit. I’ll go free Yaomomo.” Mina said as Izuku hopped the barrier down to the first floor.
…
Thirty minutes later, they were back in the situation room. All of them had been healed, and the only reason it took so long was that Recovery Girl had spent twenty of those minutes poking and prodding Izuku to make sure that there wasn’t anything his regeneration had missed. Izuku had been unanimously named the MVP in his absence. Katsuki was practically catatonic at his complete and utter defeat, and Momo was moping slightly over Mina defeating her one-on-one. Almost everyone was tired.
And Izuku was pissed, because in the time it had taken Recovery Girl to finally be satisfied that he was as fine as he looked over, team two had beaten team five and he had missed the entire thing. The two teams were just arriving in the situation room. Yui was named the MVP of the exercise, having completely countered Kōda’s rat swarm by shrinking them to the size of dust mites. And then, if that hadn’t been enough, she proved able to shrink even the esoteric and had minimized Kyōka’s sound waves. The rocker’s kickass guitar solo had managed to take out Iida and Sero but proved unable to reach Yui at all. And then Camie had ensnared her in a powerful illusion, causing Kyōka to take her final teammate out herself by mistake. The battle had ended quickly after that, with Yui growing to tremendous size, hidden by Camie’s illusions, and simply grabbing Kyōka and requesting her surrender.
Izuku desperately wanted to watch the recording. Miruko was grinning, “Some fine battles today!” She declared, “Even if some of you,” She stared directly at Izuku, “-seem to want to give me a heart attack.” Izuku blushed, “But there’s one last battle to go, so which of you lucky teams will face team three? Spin it!” She clicked the button.
“Of course.” Izuku laughed as their team came up. He looked at Fuyumi, smiling at her when he saw her smirking competitively at him. Momo was fired up, eager to redeem herself. Tōru was sagging, wondering if she even had the energy for this after having her ribs healed by Recovery Girl.
“Alright then! Since Team one played the Heroes last round, they’ll be the villains this round.” Miruko said, “This last scenario is a simple one. The Heroes are escorting important, sensitive medical supplies from one hospital to another. These supplies are very valuable, and the villains want to steal them.” Eyes widened in interest. “The villains win by stealing the van and driving it out of sight of the Heroes. The Heroes win by getting the supplies to their destination. You DO get bonus points for each member of the opposing team you take down but cannot win by doing so. FINALLY,” She suddenly shouted and made them jump, “Both teams lose if the truck is damaged and the payload destroyed. It explodes? You all lose. It gets turned upside down? You all lose. Etc.” She grinned, “You will be driven to your confrontation. Have fun!”
…
Fuyumi took in a deep breath as she prepared herself for her first real battle. Her father might be the Number One Hero, but training spars against only a single person you were completely familiar with didn’t exactly prepare you for fights against others. She hoped she hadn’t developed any bad habits, facing off only against her father, her little brother Shōto, and, very rarely, her mom.
As she eyed the van, she had a sudden brainwave. “Miruko!” She called out.
“Sup?” Their teacher’s irreverent attitude made her grin slightly.
“I know you said we weren’t supposed to damage the van… but what about the rubber of the tires?” Fuyumi asked, a smirk crossing her face, “If it can still move, is that acceptable?”
“Hoho, got something fun planned, do we? Very well, I’ll allow it.” Miruko said, before she cut off.
“So, what’s the plan, guys?” Fuyumi asked her teammates.
Kirishima was the first to speak, “Isn’t it obvious?” He slammed his fists together, “We beat the villains and get the van to the destination.”
Fuyumi deadpanned. That was not a plan.
Shōji must have noticed the bemusement in her gaze, “I can drive.” He told them, “I actually have experience as a stunt driver and have my license. I can kick the robot driver out and get us there way quicker.” Fuyumi smiled. That was a start.
Sato was the biggest person in the class by a fair bit. He was covered in muscle. Thankfully, appeared not to be a meathead. “Normally, I’m all for mano-e-mano fights, but Midoriya is crazy strong. Way stronger than I am even if I use my maximum amount of sugar. Plus, he has those crazy weapons and…magic.” He sighed, “I don’t think even Kirishima here could hold out against a sustained beating from him… and that’s if we totally ignore Yaoyorozu-san and Hagakure-san. I think we’ll need to go around them rather than through them.”
Kirishima looked offended. He pounded his fist into his chest. “Totally unmanly, bro! I’m our Wall! Our Shield! I can hold him!”
Fuyumi held back an eye roll. Kirishima had seemed pretty okay all the times she’d spoken with him previously, but apparently when it came to battles, he was a total meathead. “Beating them doesn’t win us anything.” She said flatly, “Our goal is to deliver the supplies, not capture villains. Quite frankly, we can win without throwing a single punch.” The grimace on Kirishima’s face told them everything he thought about that. Well, tough shit. “The van is going to be slow since traffic will be simulated. My idea was that we could freeze and shatter the tires and put it on its rims. After that, I can create an ice track that the rims would slot into. All we have to do is push it to the hospital.”
“Interesting.” Shōji said, “The van should still be able to spin the wheels, so depending on how steep of an angle you try to put on it, we may not even need to push.”
“Let’s keep that as the backup plan.” Sato said, “Personally, I think there’s too much risk of a tip over.”
Fuyumi nodded, “Then I guess all we can do is accompany it on its way.” She looked over at the redhead, “And we can always split the group. The supplies need to arrive, but we don’t. If you want to fight and distract them, be my guest.” Kirishima looked super excited at that. This time, she turned around so she could roll her eyes.
…
“And GO!” Miruko yelled.
The trial started, and this time, Izuku did not get a chance to hold the two beautiful women in his arms. They didn’t say anything, but they weren’t all that happy either, especially since he was still topless. At least they had eye candy.
They were in their own van and being transported to the interception point. They braced as their van shot past a red light and drifted to a stop in front of the other van.
All members of both teams leapt out, with Kirishima yelling, “Manly!” like a battle cry and charging them.
Momo brought her small cannon to bear, shooting out a net at the redhead. His body turned into what looked like stone, with sharp and jagged edges on his forearms. He swiped them through the net, with Momo letting out a ‘tsk’ as he managed to shred through it. ‘I didn’t think he’d be able to cut through that.’ She leapt back as she loaded up plan b.
“Stay!” Tōru yelled, forming a force field in front of the charging Kirishima. He ran full tilt into it and Tōru had to bite back a giggle as she heard a ‘splat.’
Izuku had an evil grin on his face as he punched Kirishima just as Tōru dropped the force field, sending the other man flying in the other direction. He hadn’t cracked his defenses, but he didn’t need to. He turned to Sato, who was completely hulked out and crossed his arms. The punch he took sent him flying back into their van, lifting it off its wheels for a moment.
“Izuku!” Momo gasped, firing her cannon. A pellet shot out and hit Sato in the chest. He let out an angry roar as it immediately started expanding into foam and covering him up, slowing his movements.
“Wait, the van!” Tōru yelled as the van raced by them, Shōji in the driver’s seat. Fuyumi was on top of the van, waving at them with a cheeky grin on her face.
“I’ve got it!” Izuku yelled, leaping at them. Only for his eyes to bulge as Fuyumi swiped her hand through the air and an intense blast of cold shot out from her, before coalescing into a titanic wall of ice. It rose taller than the buildings.
“Go!” Momo yelled at him, “There’s no way Tōru and I can catch them! We’ll take care of these Heroes.” She sneered.
Izuku nodded, “Good luck!” He misted and shot through the ice wall, marveling at just how thick she had been able to make it. He erupted from the other side in full werewolf form, chasing after his targets.
Momo reloaded her foam cannon. “Come on then, Heroes!”
“Manly!” Kirishima landed in front of them. “I’ll take you both on!” He declared, charging at them.
“Nah, don’t feel like it.” Tōru said, tapping Momo and making the both of them vanish.
“What?!” Kirishima yelled, “Come on, fight me like real men!”
Momo’s disembodied voice snorted, “It may have escaped your notice, but we are, in fact, women!” A pellet shot out of nowhere.
Kirishima dodged it and grabbed a rock, pelting it in that direction. Despite its small size, he was strong enough to dent a car door with it.
“Oooh, so close!” Tōru laughed, from the complete opposite direction.
“Try again next time!” Momo said, firing another pellet at Sato. It again exploded into expanding foam. He roared, trying to fight his way out of the mess, but the foam was rapidly hardening.
“Sato!” Kirishima yelled, looking at his partner. A punch-blast from Tōru rocked him slightly but didn’t hurt him at all. “You girls fight dirty!” He yelled, trying to tackle wherever Tōru was.
Momo backed far away and put her fingers against an earbud she was wearing. “Tōru, try tripping him instead. We’re not getting past his defense.”
“Got it.” Tōru whispered back, circling Kirishima several times, purposefully making loud footfalls occasionally to grab his attention. Finally, she ran at him from behind, enhancing her strength what little she could as she grabbed his left ankle.
“Woah!” Kirishima yelled as his left leg flew up so high he was almost doing a split. “Oof!” He grunted as he landed on his back.
“Got you!” Momo sang as she fired her cannon a few more times, foaming the redhead and practically gluing him to the floor.
“Darn it!” Kirishima yelled, struggling to break free. But the capture foam was rated for much higher strength than he had. And it was rated for far more strength than Sato had with as little sugar as he’d had a chance to consume. With his hands locked, he couldn’t grab any more of it.
“Alright, I’m calling it.” Miruko said, sounding disappointed. “Sato, Kirishima, you both are captured.” The redhead yelled in dismay, “Yaoyorozu, please dissolve the foam if you can. Those two aren’t allowed back in.”
“Yes ma’am!” Momo said, going over and spraying both boys down with the dissolver.
“We did it!” Tōru yelled gleefully, jumping into the air. She quickly hugged Momo. “Now we just trust in Izu!”
Momo smiled, gleeful over an actual victory against an opponent.
…
Izuku chased the van. He was huge and catching it quickly. Shōji was a damn good driver, but these were city streets with other vehicles in the way. Fuyumi was the hero team’s saving grace. She was shooting hellfire at him, and he had found out pretty quickly that she held an elemental advantage over his mist. He had tried to just phase through the gouts, only to be burned pretty badly and have to heal before resuming the chase. He was even more tired now than he had been previously.
But he was catching them, and this time he wasn’t about to be denied. He raced past the van, making Shōji and Fuyumi blink in confusion, only for panic to replace it as Izuku transformed back to normal and started to throw car after car into the van’s path. He was blockading the street and there was nothing they could do about it.
Shōji had to slam on the brakes to avoid crashing and leapt from the van. He charged Izuku, catching a car and throwing it back at the green-haired man. Izuku’s eyes widened and a grin crossed his face as he kicked it back. His strength was more than enough to dent the car’s frame, and it slid to a stop in front of Shōji.
The other man leapt over it and charged again. Izuku prepared to mist, but Fuyumi was taking potshots at him with her fireballs. He was forced to dodge again and again, with Shōji doing his level best to knock his block off.
Meanwhile, Fuyumi had frozen the tires solid and then shattered them, exposing the rims. She made what looked like train tracks of ice, extending them up and over the blockade. As Shōji picked up a truck and threw it at Izuku, she got behind the van and ignited her feet. It was like she had afterburners on her soles, getting the van moving until she crested the icy hill she’d made. She lost contact with the van and flew faster, landing back on top of it and creating more and more ice.
“Shit!” Izuku yelled as he tried to chase her, only for Shōji to grab his legs and chuck him in the opposite direction. He hit the ground and rolled, glaring at the masked man. He got to his feet and charged forward, ducking under another punch and landing a tremendous shot into Shōji’s gut.
“GUH!” Shōji’s eyes went a little red from the impact, before landing a thundering punch of his own in Izuku’s cheek that shattered teeth. Izuku glared back as he regenerated, landing another devastating blow into his opponent’s jaw. Shōji flipped up and landed on his back. ‘He’s so strong!’ Shōji had almost blacked out from that punch. Izuku shot past, leaping over Shōji. His opponent made a desperate grab for Izuku’s ankle, extending his flesh outwards.
Izuku slammed on the pavement face-first as his jump was forcibly aborted, letting out a growl as he turned around with claws extended. SWIPE! Shōji grunted as Izuku cut his hand off. He could regrow them, which Izuku knew, but he honestly hadn’t expected that. Izuku managed to race off, leaping over the car blockade, leaving Shōji panting where he was as he healed himself.
Izuku chased after Fuyumi, but Shōji had managed to hold him for quite a bit of time. He had a lot of ground to make up, even at his super speed. Still, at least he could just follow Fuyumi’s icy tracks. There were bends and curves as she made turns, the tracks holding at different elevations and angles so that she could make tight turns fast. But finally, he rounded a bend and saw it again.
“Give it up, villain!” Fuyumi yelled, seeing the hospital in the distance. She finished the tracks and whipped around, releasing another wall of flames at him. Izuku summoned his blades and leapt at them, using a Carian Sovereignty to slice through the wall of flames. He flipped though the thin gap, landing, and then twirling in the air as his super long sword sliced at Fuyumi, albeit with the flat and not the edge. Fuyumi made an ice shield and grit her teeth, knowing she wouldn’t be able to dodge. Despite that, she let out a yell of pain as she was jarred horribly by the impact.
She got thrown right off the van, hitting the pavement with a grunt and rolling a few times. But she was no stranger to pain. Her father had upped the intensity of their training sessions in the final year of high school. Her arm was going to be horribly bruised without a kiss from Recovery Girl, and she was exhausted right now, but she was no quitter. She stood and raised a shaky hand, blasting Izuku with fire again to prevent him from chasing the van.
“Stay down!” Izuku yelled, moving so fast she could barely track him. He jabbed at her cheek, but she ducked it, icing him over. He misted to get out of his prison, making her gawk at just how easily he could defeat half her powerset, before they were interrupted.
“The Heroes win!” Miruko yelled.
“What?!” Izuku blurted out in shock. Fuyumi was frozen too, before a hysterical giggle escaped her and she sank to her knees, panting. Both of them looked over. The van had rolled off the icy tracks, and its momentum had carried it screeching past the gates of the hospital, sparks flying behind it. He started to laugh despite the disappointment, “What a plan!”
Fuyumi was exhausted. “That was so intense. I could have miscalculated and ended up tipping the van at the last minute.”
“You did well.” Izuku smiled at her, “Need help?” he held out a hand. “I’m surprised you’re so tired. I thought you used more of your Quirk during Aizawa-sensei’s test.”
“If it had been my regular usage, I wouldn’t be.” Fuyumi mumbled, smiling sheepishly at him. “But I had to create those tracks away from my body, AND I had to shape them, so they used a lot more energy than normal. Plus, I’m a bit dehydrated after using so much fire and ice.” Izuku’s eyes widened in interest. Her Quirk was just so fascinating. “I… don’t think I can move. Give a girl a lift?” She expected that maybe he’d give her a piggyback. Izuku surprised her by lifting her up bridal-style. “Eeep!”
Izuku chuckled as he started jogging back to the situation room. Fuyumi was blushing, refusing to admit how much she liked this.
…
“Well done, everyone!” Miruko commended them.
Momo was stewing, a cloud over her head. She couldn’t believe she had won the match where she had barely done anything and lost the match she had gotten two eliminations in. She couldn’t help but get in her own head, wondering what she could have done better and going over what-ifs.
Izuku noticed. He nudged her, “You did great.” He said, “Sometimes, the dice just don’t roll your way. You know better than to leave a captured enemy unattended now.” He mumbled to her.
“Right you are, Midoriya.” Miruko said, having overheard him with her sensitive ears. “Few of you performed poorly, and most of you performed excellently for your first outing as Heroes. You will be receiving after-action reports from us teachers on your performances. Make sure to study them thoroughly.” She told them, hands on her hips. “Now, there’s one last thing to do before I let you all go.” She grinned, “Time to select the MVP for the last match!”
“I’d say it was Yaoyorozu-san.” Kyōka said, “She captured two of the enemies. If they had been able to do that a bit quicker, the Heroes would have been stuck there facing three villains.”
“Interesting. Who else?” Miruko asked.
“I mean, it’s got to be Todoroki-san, right?” Kaminari asked. “She got the win with her plan.”
“No.” Yui said shortly, shaking her head. “Mezō-san held Midoriya-kun back. She only escaped because of that.”
“Fam, if Izu-kun had ten more seconds, the villains would have won.” Camie said, “And that was with him already being gassed from the first fight.”
“I believe I must agree.” Tokoyami said, “Had our most mysterious member known that the flames of the sun could burn him in his mist form ahead of time, I believe he would have won the match. Again.”
“He did have Todoroki-chan dead to rights.” Shōda agreed.
“Nah, I have to agree with Kaminari.” Mina said, crossing her arms, “Fuyumi-chan ensured they’d win regardless of whether she went down or not. It was totally heroic!”
“Honestly, I have to agree.” Izuku chimed in for the first time. “Tired or not, a second here or there, none of that matters. Fuyumi-san made the right moves and won the match for her team despite the fact that they were at a disadvantage.” He looked at them apologetically, “No offense, but our team countered yours pretty well. We had a stealth expert that even Mezō-san couldn’t detect. We had Yaomomo, who could create everything we needed to make sure Kirishima-san and Sato-san’s strength didn’t matter. And not to toot my own horn, but…” Half the room snorted as he rubbed the back of his head sheepishly. “On paper, we had the advantage despite one fewer member. And we lost because of Fuyumi-san.”
“Agreed!” Miruko grinned, “And you even got the explanation I wanted! Listen to Midoriya, everyone, because he’s right. We’re Heroes. If a second causes someone to die, there’s no ‘I almost had him!’ Earthquakes don’t care how tired you are. We’re here to save as many people as we can. It’s not all about beating asses.” She said bluntly, “You’re all going to make mistakes. Fuck knows I’ve made plenty. What’s important is that you learn from them and keep pushing.” She raised her hands over her head and stretched, “Now, I’ve got a pretty good feel for you lot, so I’m going to get some personalized training programs written for you. I should have them ready by Monday. Now skedaddle! Those of you who need to go see RG, do it now. I want you all to think about your costumes and see what – if any – improvements or even redesigns you can come up with. Tomorrow will only be regular classes since I’ll be doing this with Group B. We’ll pick back up on Thursday. Go on. Shoo!” She waved them away.
Izuku couldn’t help his chuckle as they filed out of the room. That had been… just about what he had expected from Miruko. He hadn’t been disappointed.

Done!
For those who need a picture: Fuyumi’s costume is bar for bar Miranda Lawson’s Cerberus outfit from Mass Effect 2, just in white-and-red instead of white-and-black.
Hope you all enjoyed the battle trials!
Here is Toru's costume in this fic:
And here is the inspiration for Mina's Acid Armor. It HAS been recolored by a friend of mine, but I believe that the original is by Vlizz. They ARE a NSWF artist, so watch out if you search them up:
