My problem isnt their honest answers, my problem is I feel like the only reason he asked if he should stop reading was because of the chat being incredibly douchey, cause originally he was like “buckle up, we’re doing this whether you like it or not, you’re along for this ride with me” and then chat was just so bad he was like “okay, at least let me read to page 20 and if you really hate it, I’ll stop” but chat was just THAT BAD that he didn’t even make it to page 20! He quit at page 17 cause chat was horrendous, it was the hate that made him quit, not cause people honestly didn’t like the story, he probably would’ve switched to reading a different story if the fanbase was being chill and cool instead annoying asshats
