[Episode Izar] Progress Update II (Patreon)

Greetings,

last week I progressed with the writing of the new episode and kept rendering animations for the small update. It seems I underestimated how fast I would be able to render the animations. So I'm not entirely sure how to progress here.

What I think I will do, or at least try to do. I still have my previous pc here. Initially I thought I would operate both parallel for the game but I never really got into that workflow. Mostly because of the frequent crashes on the old system so I sticked to my new system. However, I will try to get that machine up date and try to use it for posing scenes for the new update while my newer system is rendering the animations.

Music Videos

I pretty much have all 'music videos' to my in-game tracks ready and uploaded but 2. One, the 'secret' song I wouldn't really want to add to the OST for the game as it doesn't fit. It was just a fun little easter egg anyway. However, the last one from which this progress updates image is from is giving me some headaches. It renders incredible slow and I don't know why. The first few images are rendered quickly and than it falls of incredible fast. If I scroll throw the scene in after effects each frame is rendered pretty quickly but if I try to export it it just slows down. I'm not sure if this is a software or hardware issue. I don't think it's the scene.

Anyway, if this one is done and uploaded I'll make the YouTube playlist available.
