Greetings,

I'm back from my vacation which I extended a bit. Partly wanted and partly unwanted as I was ill in between and just got a cold again. So nothing dramatic, just annoying. I had a great time in northern and eastern Europe, mostly hiking, northern lights watching, visiting old friends and driving nearly 15000km in total.

Enough about the vacation. I did some changes on the writing for the first episode for the new season as I wanted to add something I came up during the vacation. I'll give the dialogue to review tomorrow and I plan to start rendering the first actual images for the next episode this week.

The steam release I'll postpone to December as I still couldn't make my mind up on the marketing of the release. It's just something I don't like to do.

After the long silence I'll be back to regular, weekly progress updates.

As I'm still wrapped in a blanket I'll keep it short today.

Kind regards,ML

A well-deserved vacation, I'd say. Did you visit Sweden?

I crossed the border from Norway to Sweden once or twice when hiking and once for northern light watching but I didn't camped there this time. Last year or the year before I spent some more days in Sweden but nowhere near any big cities. I do have found childhood memories of Sweden, when I was really young we had a family vacation with 14 or 15 people in a huge cabin somewhere in the middle of the woods. But it also had a field in front of the house where in the morning the fog stood and the moose crossed. That were good family times. I even remember a single Swedish word I learned, "Skithus" :D The cabin only had an outhouse and it was infested with mosquitos. 7 at once was an easy task back then. Depending on my friends we might go fishing in Sweden sometime in the next years.

That sounds awesome! Where I live, you never see any northern lights. I have seen it once, when I was so far out in the archipelago that no city lights could drown them. But mooses (meese? :-) ) are more common, one swam to our island this summer and scared the tourists.
