[Episode Gacrux] Progress Update X (Patreon)

Greetings,

this week went definitely better than the last. Rendering was okay I think. The problem with the render plugin got resolved mostly and the review is coming along well.

Review-Process

Osanaiko did the first review of the dialogue and added some comments on the content which I'll now review again. So this will be some kind of ping pong process until I'm happy with everything.

Resolved technical issues

The developer of the octane plugin responded pretty quickly this week and provided a new build with a few fixes. This resolves some of my issues when saving new files but some older files will still have some issues upon loading. But this makes things way less frustrating now. I don't need to re-do everything again upon loading and don't risk to have wrong textures/lightning compared to the previous render and I don't have to keep the pc and the app running when I'm not working on it to prevent loading issues.
