The red item that Ae-soon was trying to bring out is a 'piggy bank'. It is a coin collecting piggy bank. Now it is paid by credit card, but in the past, people used to pay only with cash. When people had change, they collected it in the piggy bank, and when it was full, they went to the bank to change it into a large amount of money or deposit it into a bank account.

The amount of historically accurate items and set in this drama is incredible… it look this good and has all the little artifacts in there to add more richness. The production team, set design team, and all a phenomenal job. A passion project and it shows!
