The lady got bittten by her husband is not going to turn into demon, because human only got turned while the blood got exposed to demon blood. Primarily, is through Muzan's blood. You can see at the scene that Muzan use his nail and flood his blood to the lady, but just the amount of blood are too large and the lady unable to withstand it, so in the end got destroyed and turn into ash instead of transform into demon. "Blood" is a very important element in this whole anime. In theory, all demons are part of Muzan, because they have his blood in them, and so Muzan have control of them. Demons have Muzan's curse in them as well as Tamayo said (but she removed it from herself after so many years of research in medic and adjust her n Yushiro her assistant body for not eating human to live anymore ) . When Nezuko fight with the split demon, there also mentioned Nezuko now is already strong even haven't own any Blood Demon Arts yet and said she must have received a lots of blood from Muzan. You can also see it mentioned from the two new "servant" demons, they said they feel the power flows because of the bloods that Muzan shared with them. So, basically, the more powerful the demons are, the more amount of bloods from Muzan in it, more closely related they are. And the two things that irritated Muzan you can see from these episodes : -The Earring, which is now wearing by Tanjiro. - say him pale, sickly and closely to die.

Wow, I didn’t expect Muzan to appear that fast. And for some reason, I also didn’t think the show would feature real-life locations such as Tokyo, so that was a pleasantly surprising detail. If I remember correctly, the story is set in the Taishō era, which is the early 20th century (1912–1926). The period you were thinking of would’ve been the Meiji era—which the morphed demon mentioned—but he had lived for so long that he’d lost his sense of time. Haha, yeah, the shift in drawing style during intense emotional moments or internal dialogue is pretty standard in most anime. I’m so used to it that I hardly notice it anymore, so it’s fun to hear your perspective on it. As for leaving the opening uncut, I personally wouldn’t mind at all! When I watch shows on my own, I usually skip the opening after the first time, but it might be interesting to see your reaction now that you’ve heard the song and know the backstory. Plus, it’s a great song and really sets the tone :D

Yess, humans can only turn into a demon if Muzan does it. A normal demon won’t be able to turn anyone into a demon no matter what they do (inlcuding biting them). They have to be exposed to Muzan’s blood. Muzan is the only one who can do it.
