The twelve Kizuki have upper 6 demons and lower 6 demons So lower 5 means he's overall rank is 11

Peak episode!! ❤️‍🔥

I totally get what you mean about Inosuke — I felt pretty similar at first, but only before he actually joined the team. He grew on me really quickly, and he’s actually a nice bloke, just incredibly chaotic. 😄 Yeah, it wasn’t just us viewers who were fooled about who the Kizuki really was — Tanjiro and the team were tricked too. Also, that kid is only a Lower Five, which makes him 11th out of the 12 Kizuki. (They’re ranked as Jōgen — Upper Rank Six — and Kagen — Lower Rank Six moons.) So without spoiling anything, you can probably tell from his ranking alone that he’s far from the real big guns, haha.

Finally this episode!! I can't wait for you to get to the 2nd season! The battle in that season will get you even more speechless 💯🔥

Exactly — these episodes showcased a great disparity in power. At this point in time, Tanjiro and the team are struggling even with lower-rank Kizuki, but for a (Water) Hashira like Giyu, it’s a piece of cake. By the way, there’s an interesting Easter egg I noticed about the Insect Hashira, Shinobu. She says the phrase “tsuki ga kirei desu ne” twice here, which translates to “the moon is beautiful, isn’t it?” That line is famously attributed to the Japanese novelist Natsume Soseki, who suggested it as a poetic way to express one’s love — since directly saying “I love you” isn’t typical in Japanese culture. Shinobu says it once to Giyu and once to the girl demon. I’m not that well-versed in Demon Slayer lore, but I’ve seen people speculate that she might have feelings for Giyu. Others disagree, since saying it to a demon would carry a completely different meaning — or perhaps it’s simply a phrase she likes to use in various situations. Either way, I’m pretty sure it’s a deliberate reference.

all you need to know is when you will see upper moon demons thats when you should really be scared

Little side fact, the soundtrack play while Tanjiro fight with Rui in the end of ep19 is literally call "Kamado Tanjiro's Song" in translation, and the meaning of the song overall is about Tanjiro's journey, and the very encouragement message and spirit Tanjiro holds, it is a very meaningful and beautiful song in its own, although it is not that kind of music or song in general that people listen in daily, but with the scene is indeed very impactful, I remember the very first time I watch it, I do feel more of the scene because of it. Maybe it is not the Main focus thing while we watch it but it really adds to it even tho we viewers not even realize.

Kamado family indeed very special, and it is really good writing on every little detail to represent the family bond. [ Hinokami Kagura ] - A Breathing technique /form/dance move Tanjiro's father used as a New Year's ritual to ward off evil "Hinokami" - means God of Fire in Japanese. "Hi" ( fire ), Kami ( god ) "Kagura" - ancient Japanese ritualistic music and dance -Tanjiro's father promised and also ask Tanjiro to passed down the earrings and this Hinokami Kagura through generation. Their family works with fire, both of Tanjiro and Nezuko's real power also related and base on fire you see. Everything is connected. And for Nezuko's blood demon art, you can see it only burning the thread and the demon but not Tanjiro or we can say human in specific, and when looking carefully on the scene it also becoming and add as part of the power with the sword together to slash and give damage on the demon.

[ Hashira ] Tomioka Giyu - Water Hashira (Water Breathing) - If you noticed, Giyu use the "eleventh" form in the battle, while Water Breathing has ten forms in basic. So, we can see this 11th form is on his own. *you can just call him Giyu, maybe would more easier for you to remember, Tomioka is Surname, some times you will see the character call each other by surname instead of just their name, that is more of culture thing and a more polite and respect way to call your colleague/schoolmates/elder/not familiar person.... etc Kocho Shinobu - Insect Hashira (Insect Breathing) *Fun fact, "Kocho" means butterfly in Japanese, while the design of her also as a butterfly girl haha, also match with her Insect breathing style * She is a pharmaceuticals expert, * She use poison to kill demon. *About Shinobu, her speaking tone indeed very different from the other, one side very polite and nice, one side also feel very creepy and scary. She might seem really calm or in a way not serious about the situation in the mountain, but during her conversation with the demon girl, you can see that she did care about the every single life. Not gonna lie, I might most scared of her when I first saw her and think she is crazy😂luckily she is on our team😂but I also very like her from the first at the same time. For her and the other characters, you will now started to know more, then everything will be clear and make sense. ( Really enjoy your reaction so far, very engage and proud to see you getting involved and absorb in the story, and seeing those characters development on you, although I watch this anime so so so many times include those "reaction" ver., I still very enjoy to watch again with you and the peoples here )

Sidharth (시드하르트)

I am so glad that we have a 2-day schedule for anime, because I can't wait for every reaction. I am so excited for more episodes to come. By the way, Aaron, I hope you don't get confused by the way they're calling each other names. In Japan, it is polite and standard to call someone by their surname followed by an honorific like "-san," "-sama," and "-sensei," especially if you're not close with that person. So if you get confused why the other person calls him by his first name, they're probably family-related, close with each other, etc. So we met the Lower-5 demon already. I know you're amazed at how strong he was. Of course he was one of the twelve Kizuki. But I couldn't wait for your reactions when they met the upper demon. Hahaha!
