I’m not sure if anyone has mentioned it to you before, but the next season/arc is actually a movie: Mugen Train. Netflix decided to split it into episodes, but it was originally released as a movie. They added extra scenes in the first (fragmented) episode, but the rest is literally the same as the movie. So the best way to go, at least for me, is: 1. watch the first fragmented episode, then 2. watch the movie. It’s the best experience in my opinion, since you won’t have to break the momentum — it was meant to be watched in one go.

I AGREE!!! THIS IS THE BEST WAY TO WATCH IT ♥️♥️♥️

I really can’t imagine not watching it as a movie. Everyone who have loved this anime experienced MUGEN TRAIN as a movie. At the same time, the split version’s episode 1 is also VERY IMPORTANT to watch. So, I agree. Watch EPISODE 1 fragment episode, then THE MOVIE.

To be fair, I watched it as a series and skipped the movie (since I binge-watched everything recently, after it had all been released), and I thoroughly enjoyed it nonetheless. If Aaron wants to keep reacting to it as a series, I don’t think there’s anything wrong with that—especially considering the series includes extra content that the movie doesn’t have. If you go with the movie, you kind of have to watch Episode 1 of the series to get more context — but if you go with the series, you can completely ignore the movie.

It's just the episode 1 that has extra content, I think. But I'm fine with it either way🙂. I'm mainly here for the journey so if he decides to watch the episodes not a big deal🤷‍♀️,

Well, I haven’t seen the movie so I can’t comment on the differences with total confidence, but based on online reviews it seems that the first episode is completely unique to the TV series and isn’t in the movie at all. There are also supposedly some extra scenes sprinkled throughout the other episodes. (Plus the uwasa banashi segments) I think this recommended watch order became popular among people who had already seen the movie when it first came out, since the movie released long before the TV version. For them, it makes total sense to watch only Episode 1 and skip the rest. But for first-time viewers, there’s a choice now, so it’s not necessarily the best or only option. At that point, it just comes down to personal preference. Personally, it made more sense for me to continue with the series after Episode 1 instead of switching to the movie, since I cared more about the additional content than the pacing.

Okay🙂🤷‍♀️

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know that even though this is the most recent Demon Slayer post, I've already started filming reactions to season 2, and I decided to keep watching it as episodes, because this way the flow of the reactions will be exactly the same as S1, same reaction length, and I won't have to find places where to separate the full video into separate reactions, if I were to film it as a movie. I hope you're ok with this my decision!

Hi, thanks for the heads-up! It might be an unpopular opinion here, but in anime communities it’s roughly split down the middle, and many people do suggest going with the series instead of the movie for new viewers, so I think it’s totally fair. It also makes a lot of sense with your reaction schedule. Looking forward to it! By the way, the movie only had “Homura” as the theme song, which you’ve already reacted to, but the series has two other LiSA songs—“Akeboshi” (opening) and “Shirogane” (ending)—and both are great. Hope to see your reactions to them as well!

here I am enjoying your cute reaction haha
