The name "Se kyoung" is almost always considered a female name in Korea. If you hear someone's name is "Se kyoung" you'd probably assume that's a woman. So, he was quite embarrassed when he found out that his girlfriend's best friend was actually a man.

This! And I think once the girlfriend said that Se kyoung was her roommate. Usually Korean share room with same gender person except the one in romantic relationship. So he is worried too.

Hi Aaron, I don't know if you understand what the patient's brother meant when he was speaking with Dr. Chae. What he meant was that when he told his girlfriend, "I don't want us to get awkward," he really meant, "I like you, but I don't want to lose our friendship in case we break up." For him, when he answered that question, he thinks he didn't make sense because if you don't like the person, you should've told them that you don't like them directly and not made reasons. And that's when Dr. Chae realized that telling that to Dr. Ik-jun meant she liked him, but she didn't want things to become awkward.

Just some recommendation on what you may want to watch: - Resident Playbook (12 eps) - a spin off of Hospital Playlist focusing on 1st year residents' life with similar structure to HP. There are cameos from HP which is really fun. - 3 meals a day: Doctor (8 eps) - reality show featuring the main cast of HP where they cook 3 meals a day with special guests each episode from HP. Thought you may enjoy it cause it seems you like to watch cooking stuff. - after finishing HP, I feel like a good choice would be "Bon Appetite, You Majesty" which stars Yoona from SNSD. It was an immensely popular drama of this year. It features a lot of cooking so you will enjoy it and the storyline is really good.
