Hey hey guys, hope you all are doing well!So I think the time has come, I've been thinking about starting to watch a BIGBANG reality/variety for a while now, and looks like I'm at a point where I'm ready to do it!And because I really know nothing about the shows that they've been in/on, I will be relying on your recommendations and make a decision based on what you want to see. So please fire away in the comments and let me know what shows you'd like me to go for!

i think it will be great if you started with their origin, it’s called Bigbang The Beginning, there are 10 chapters of how the group was made and you could catch up (since you saw once) that at first it was 6 members

BIGBANG- The Biginning

I also vote for their documentary The Beginning. It shows their personalities and struggles at pre-debute time, so it will be the perfect start to dive into BB.

Since many have commented about their debut documentary, I will recommend a few relatively recent ones:

Highly recommend starting with the Zip Daesung BIGBANG reunion episode. It’s not too long, but it sheds light on the current members’ personalities and the group’s comeback. Daesung has a YouTube series called Zip Daesung, where he chats with idols. Some guests you regularly react to include BSS from Seventeen, EXO, Taemin, and Junsu from TVXQ, etc.
The Bigbang reunion episode happened before GD's recent comeback. Links to part 1 &2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YuNlmtk48Ms https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mp2JmllkjbM There are also a couple of documentary films that are must-watches: BIGBANG’s MADE Tour documentary, where you can see more of the group dynamics and how involved they are in their tours:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0b7306iUZ7g G-Dragon’s Motte documentary, which shows a very raw and unfiltered look at idol life: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Agbq6hzfxb0&t=14s GD’s new variety show Good Day from last year, which has a concept similar to the Infinite Challenge music festival you watched with IU. He actually collaborated with Infinite Challenge's PD and brought together artists and celebrities from different industries to collaborate on a music project. Some other old goodies include Weekly Idol, Running Man, Infinite Challenge, Happy Together, and Radio Star. They have multiple appearances. The group episode on Weekly idol is probably a good starting point. Part 1: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nmyqoxVyaHc Part 2: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yklUcmQaBI0&t=21s

I'd like to recommend Weekly Idol Bigbang episode. The hosts and Big Bang are very close, so you can see many funny scenes. I think it's the best entry when you start Big Bang's variety shows!

Hi Aaron! I see that many people have already given recommendations on their most popular shows, so I just wanted to let you know that you can find the shows with decent quality from this link: https://bigbangplusvip.carrd.co/#variety (It's a BIGBANG archive page) Hope this helps! Edit: One interview I would also recommend is their Radio Star interview (ep 506-507), where they answer questions that are more personal 🙂

i wish there was a Bigbang made: The movie and G-dragon Act III:motte documentary first.

No way haha, didn't expect that to come so soon! Thank you so much Aaron, you just made my day, my week, my month honestly!! Everyone has recommended everything already, I would honestly be glad to watch anything. I can't decide what I would like to see first, but since I didn't see these two recommended I thought I would mention them: The most recent GD fridge interview with Sana and Dex, it's so funny and you see some more of GD's personality. Dex' and GD's chemistry is so fun to watch in this one! Also the Zip Deasung ep. 71 where they gather together and invite some friends, it's so funny. They've been in this industry so long and don't care about their image anymore, it shows in this one lol. You don't have to watch these first, but it would be nice if you got to them sometime. Thanks again Aaron!!

Zip daesung!

Their appearance as 5 members on a very popular variety show at the time (with host Yoo Jaesuk) called "Happy Together" which is like a talk show. It's deemed a MUST watch to know their personalities and their most viewed variety show appearance i think. Link -https://youtu.be/Xb3rIaOOMr8?si=TmduNhoihQwJSfTF

Yess that's a good starter too!

You should also react to Weekly Idol, the episode with G-Dragon solo and the one with all of BigBang!

Christine Song

Infinite challenge is also a big one

Tin 빅뱅사랑해

All the things said on the other comments especially Zip DAESUNG :) Also Running Man their episodes are 84-85, 163, 250. For more variety show resources, you can check out the compilation of their variety shows etc on -- https://bigbangpluswatch.carrd.co/

Also GD's variety show called "Good Day" -- lots of people from k-industry participated there.
