Here is 2:30 A.M Sunday and I knew u gonna post so I waited 🥲

Vie

It’s 5:00 AM here lol. I wasn’t expecting this, but I’m glad I saw it before going to sleep.

One thing I love about Attack on Titan is how it doesn’t follow the usual clichés. They make Levi Squad’s four elites seem super important, then just kill them off in the next episode lol. + Also Levi was surprised because the Female Titan was crying.

Sang

Levi can kill her at that time if rescuing Eren was not the first priority. Female titan is strong yeah but not stronger than Levi to be honest. Levi decided to go back because there was also mikasa so fighting is always better when there’s no one who u care around so

This message will be a bit long, but first I want to clarify that the comment you saw is, in a way, a spoiler. Even though it’s not stated explicitly, it’s something that could already be inferred from previous episodes into this one. Additionally, it implicitly gives insight into what the people who organized the plan are like, and it can even set certain expectations about what might happen next. That being said, if there was anything you didn’t fully understand in these episodes, I do think the comments are important and worth paying close attention to. On another note, I think it’s better not to share our general opinions about the personalities of the characters just yet, since we wouldn’t want to influence or cloud your perception with ours (at least until you get to know them better in future episodes). For example, something like what happened with Levi with the previous comments. I believe it’s important for you to form your own opinion about each character, to form your own theories and expectations. I hope that makes sense, Im saying this so you can have your own experience, and make it as enjoyable as possible for yourself while watching the anime ^^

Could you please make tier for anime only? A lot of new viewers are going to join your patreon for anime only, so the price could be lower🤔🫰

I totally agree with this. Back when people were saying Levi is the most loved character and that everyone loves him, I was actually a bit worried. Even though Aaron didn’t seem to care much, to me it felt like a slight spoiler. Because naturally, it makes him assume Levi isn’t a “villain,” and that takes away some of the tension. For example, when I first watched Attack on Titan, in episode 18 when Levi ignored the Female Titan and kept moving forward even though his squad and Eren were desperately asking for orders, it felt way more intense. I didn’t trust Levi at all at that point. I was even thinking he might be a traitor, so it was really tense. But after people said Levi is the most loved character, Aaron naturally started assuming “Levi must have some kind of plan,” and that tension kind of disappeared. Same with Erwin. At first Aaron was suspicious of him, but after seeing comments about Erwin, it felt like that suspicion faded a bit... I’d really appreciate it if people could be a little more careful with what they say.

Hi! For the time being I wasn't planning on adding new separate tiers for anime, I treat it like my other content on the tier where people might be joining for one specific group, so essentially for one specific type of content

aaronfreeman

Yeah I see what you mean, the comments did influence my peception of both of these characters indeed. Maybe not to the extent that I'd feel "oh, I wish I hand'nt read that, it kinda ruined the experience", not at all. But I do agree that certain comments or even certain phrasing in the comments may affect how I see characters and events in the anime. So let's try to be a bit more careful going forward ; )

The story doesn’t really support that claim. Hajime Isayama writes Levi as someone who forms strong bonds but expresses them through duty and restraint. His connection to Petra reflects trust within his squad, and there’s no textual or author-confirmed basis for a “clearly hinted” romantic interest.

It is actually not as clear as you make it seem though. Levi definitely had the advantage of knowing about the female titan's abilities already and is the most skilled fighter in the SC, but he knew no real way around the hardening ability with his 3DM-Gear. Bc of that uncertainty he decided to retreat.

Sang

He really can kill her. I don’t want to write any spoilers here. As in this ep, mikasa also explained that Annie can’t do Hardening skill in time because Levi is so much faster than her. If u watch to the end, u must know Levi is way more faster than that hardening ability. Well if u watch here first time with Aaron then

Sang

The only thing he retreat was cus of Eren and Mikasa. Levi is so much softer person than we give credits. He cares so much for his people so if he try to kill, it can put Eren in danger again

As we are approaching the end of season 1, I would recommend you to watch No Regret Part 1 & 2 OVA and also a parody video of season 1 "Attack on Titan in 9 minutes"

Popo Zeta

Yess, those two and Ilse's Notebook are a must watch before season 2

Bat

Hey Aaron, I'm the person who commented about Erwin in the last reaction. I only commented because they did mention that a few times, especially in the last episode you've reacted to, but I can see how that could feel like a spoiler, and I apologise if that ruined that fun

Sidharth (시드하르트)

I remember watching this episode, where Petra and the others died; it really broke my heart, and rewatching it made me shed tears again. For Petra, her relationship with Levi might confuse you, but Isayama, the author, didn't confirm or hint that Levi and Petra were in a romantic relationship. Petra dedicated herself to being a Levi's squad member, and she admired Levi. Regarding the "marriage," I think Petra's father wanted her to be paired with Levi because he interpreted Petra's note as a sign of her feelings for Levi; that was why he wanted them to be together. I guess Levi probably knew that Petra liked him; that's why the show concentrated more on him looking at Petra's dead body. And Aaron, if you like to watch some OVAs (Original Video Animation), here are the OVAs you can watch before watching season 2: 1) Ilse's notebook, 2) A sudden visitor, 3) Distress, and 4) No Regrets parts 1 and 2. No pressure on watching them; I was just suggesting. Don't worry, OVA is not a spoiler. There are many characters in this anime that are the reason why I love it, but this trio will always be my favorite: Eren, Mikasa, and Armin. Watching them starting from their younger years to being adults was like living with them too.

Sidharth (시드하르트)

Hi Aaron, as someone who watches many things in your account, I hope if one day you will make a separate tier for anime, you will still add anime in this tier because I cannot keep up with the payments. 😪 Sorry, just a low-key broke corporate worker.

aaronfreeman

Hi, no worries at all, it didn't ruin the fun in any way!
