I recommend watching 2025MAMA Behind and ZIP daesung ep 28-29. I want to see G-Dragon's solo album in full, and especially "Kwon Jiyong" album, the Motte documentary, and the Motte concert are definitely recommended.

it’s pretty confusing at first with their stage names so Jiyong - G Dragon Youngbae - Taeyang and he also uses “SOL” when he is in japan Daesung it’s his real name as well as his stage name and he also goes by D-lite in japan (just adding TOP’s real name is Seunghyun) the “follow follow follow me” joke comes from one of GD’s team member who runs some sort of bts account of GD on insta calles 8low8low8lowme since 8 is pronounced as Pal it’s just like a word play and you can notice a Minesweeper picture on the woman’s taeyang hugs so she is “Palomi” there’s a recent Untitled 2014 presentation actually, he sang it at mama 2025 but it had a terrible audio since this performance was a last minute change for the Hong Kong tragedy where a lot of people lost their life for a fire incident, fancams of this performance are way better and there’s a bts video as well of all of this process where he was rehearsing the initial performance and the switch up to the last minute also the aftermath of this, its interesting so hopefully you could react to this later on

-Yes, you reacted to this MAMA performance last year! I remember you talked about how you barely knew him outside of the 2015 Infinite Challenge Expressway Music Festival with IU, and here we are... How time flies haha -2024 was a wonderful year for VIPs/FAMs because GD's last active era was the Kwon Ji-Yong album in 2017, which was when he pushed out some of his best songs and yet it was probably the most depressing era for him. In his Motte Tour Documentary you could see how thin and emotionally tired he was back then (that was when he slept for three days straight as you heard from his Fridge Interview), and with all the stuff that he went through during his enlistment I think it's safe to say that most fossil VIPs would have accepted it if he had chose not to return to the industry. I think we were just all so relieved to see him come back and smiling so much more than he used to, that's why back when he first returned with Power, fans were just thankful and telling him to take care of himself and that all we want is for him to be happy. -There was a recent performance of Untitled on MAMA 2025 but it was ruined by technical errors on MAMA's end because you can barely hear him over the backtrack. I think you can hear his voice way louder and clearer on any fancam you can find lol ^^; You can also find the live version of the song in his Ubermensch Tour movie though (I believe he performed Untitled at every stop)! -Oh yes, Daesung is RIPPED. Even back during gen 2 era, there's so many clips of the boys ripping Daesung's shirt during concerts and you get to see him with his thick arms and washboard abs, not to forget his shirtless scene in the Fantastic Baby MV lol. Nowadays he's mostly a pilates princess (which is probably why he looks so good doing those kungfu moves) but it's amazing how he manages to maintain his physique for 20 years. He even timidly showed off his abs in a travel show he was recently on xD And no, the only kdrama he appeared was in (minus the parodies they made) was a kdrama about music college students haha! Thank you for your reaction as always! (:

I've been waiting so long for a video about GD, so thank you! It was such an enjoyable time. As for recommendations, all of the Behind videos on G-DRAGON's official YouTube channel are great choices, and since you've been checking out BIGBANG and GD's music from the early days, I'd recommend watching the BIGBANG Begins documentary. It gives you a really good look at how they trained in the early days and the relationships between the members. Looking forward to more great videos!

The stage at the beginning was GD’s first appearance on stage in 8 years. He came on stage to support Taeyang impromptu at Taeyang's concert, so even fans were surprised that he hadn’t lost a beat while dancing “Good Boy.” I hope you’ll react to the “Good Boy” dance practice after checking out the MV. The 2024 Mama stage was his 2nd stage after Taeyang's concert. So it was indeed nerve-racking. A lot of their staff have been working with them for 20 years. When GD left YG, some of their close staff left with him. You’ll see more of their dynamic with staff in Bigbang’s Made documentary film.
Also, regarding this “new side” of GD, he’s actually showing this side of him for the first time in his 20-year career. He’s more comfortable showing a more relaxed, playful, imperfect side of himself, more Kwon Jiyong, in a sense. In the past, the G-Dragon persona was more prominent: sharp, bold, polished, perfectionism driven. But maintaining that image wore him out, and he eventually felt lost within it. He talked about this on Yoo Quiz, which was his first variety/talk show after his comeback. I recommend checking that out in the future. I think the Beginning documentary would be a good starting point, since you’ll see pre-debut, unpolished Bigbang without worrying about spoiling songs you haven’t reacted to yet. Definitely very old-style variety show tho. I think that's the first idol debut survival show lol For more recent content, I recommend Zip Daesung’s Bigbang episodes (28–29).

So glad to hear that you feel like you're getting to know him better with these videos! I'm really looking forward to your continued journey with him and BigBang! Of course in the beginning doc you will once again see a very different side haha. While I love him when he was in his 20s, I'm really loving and enjoying this new side of him as well that we get to see now. Especially when he is with close ones, I feel like that new side shines though even more, but I suppose it's like that with almost everyone. As many others mentioned, I really recommend watching ZIP Deasung ep 28-29, you get more stories about them from various times of their lives. It feels quite nostalgic since they talk about the past a lot. I don't remember if it was after or before MAMA though. Of course if you want to check out the beginning doc first, I'm ok with anything. Looking forward to it as well! But I feel like to properly wrap this timeline up that you've been reacting to, it would be nice to watch the Zip Deasung episodes, although there is obvisouly a lot more content from this time. But then again I'm happy about any BigBang related update haha. And I can't write a comment without mentioning that, but really looking forward to Motte and the Kwon Ji Yong album. Really hoping that you will get around to that sometime!

Please react to their first reunion on ZIP DAESUNG ep 28-29. It's much more intimate than ep 71.

Seventeen and especially BSS always showed their love for Bigbang. GD showed his appriciation for their constent fanboying by inviting them to his show "good day" (really recommend btw). And it seems GD and Hoshi got close since than.

I just subscribed and I'm a VIP, hope to see more bigbang variety content soon! Also would like to add on that Home Sweet Home was released earlier specifically for MAMA and the drop was soo random! Like there were no promos to hype it up. After this behind the scenes video was released only then we realise the reason for the rush was for this stage.

GD's day starts from 4pm till the following morning so it could probably be 8ish am. Meanwhile Daesung's bedtime is 9pm so you could see him napping a little bit during the rehearsal.
