Thank you for this reaction! I also felt like I was sweating buckets the first time I watched this because the energy was just so insanely infectious lol 😂 I would definitely love to see you dive into some Daesung solo work in the future! He's more well-known for his trot songs, but he has so much more to offer. He just released his first Korean mini album D's Wave last year (his solo career was mainly focused in Japan)! Also, one video you absolutely have to check out is his live performance of his solo song called "Anymore" (: Also I never noticed until you pointed it out, but yeah I can see how his voicework somehow resembles Adam Lambert's 🤔

Thanks for the reaction! This is absolutely one of my favorite live performances in K-Pop. You can't help but feel the energy even emanating from the screen. Wow, what a surpise, didn't expect you to react to this performance at all today!! Their lives are just on a whole different level! Honestly, what I really love about their concerts and what makes me want to watch them over and over again, is that the energy is just so real and fun. It doesn't feel like they're trying to put on a show and do rehearsed choreo (which can also be really cool, don't get me wrong), but they are just themselves, they are just feeling the songs, as if they're performing them like the mood strikes. So effortless and with such style. At this point, listening to the studio version of Bang Bang Bang and Fantastic Baby feels weird for me, because I keep hearing Tops live vocals for Boom Shakalaka, their adlips, their variations, etc. So good! With that being said, although I think you won't enjoy it as much, it would still be nice for you to check out the MVs for these songs. I mean, these are BigBang classics! Also, absolutely excited for you to check out some Daesung songs! Please do! Although not rock at all, I vote for "Look at me, Gwisun" and "Hando-Chogua" (one of his most recent songs)!! GD wrote these for Deasung, and especially Gwisun was a total hit in those days, very unusual for an idol. Probably not exactly your style, but who knows haha, you keep surprising me with your music taste anyway. Those are not representitive of his style tho, he has many other great songs of different genres.

I saw the notification at work and had to wait a whole day to watch the performance being the responsible adult I am. Now I’m jealous of Aaron for getting to experience this for the first time lol This is the kind of energy you want when going to a concert. Even though they are not my favorite songs, I can’t help but feel energized. Also miss the era when people just vibed with the performance instead of everyone holding their phones up recording.

Daesung discography is quite different from the rest of the members hehe, he usually does Japanese music so the vibe is pretty different from kpop, he recently did his korean “debut” so if you wanna a recommendation from something new Hando Chogua might be, he’s pretty known for doing Troat, so Hando Chogua and Look at me Gwisun are like an introduction but if you wanna hear more about his insanely live vocals i would recommend “Anymore” live
