It is indeed a beautiful moment. Since you are also watching Zip Daesung BigBang episodes, it reminds me of that time when the members only felt safe and comfortable gathering on Daesung’s YouTube channel, to GD’s comeback, to the iconic BigBang MAMA stage, and then Coachella. It’s been an incredible past year and a half, and now we’re looking forward to even more great moments to come. Whenever you get the chance to watch the full Coachella performance, you can also check out the BTS footage that was just released on GD’s YouTube channel. You can really see how involved he is in every aspect of the show, from the setlist to song arrangements, camerawork, and choreography, etc. I don’t want to spoil anything, but I’m still obsessed with the Coachella version of “Power.” Also, since you enjoy the melody of "Still Life", “Flower Road” might be up your alley as well. You should complete the "Last Dance-Flower Road-Still Life-Home Sweet Home" run (for lack of a better term, bigbang's hiatus songs) before their comeback.

Ugh, Still Life is like a "dagger to the heart" esp to those who waited for their comeback only to find out years later that it was T.O.P's last song with BB. It took us 4 years to watch them perform it live. Coachella 2020 cancellation was such a pity coz it could have been their last performance with T.O.P, but then Coachella 2026 is a beautiful moment, for VIPs and also to BB members, and a way to kick off the 20th anniversary. Can't wait for what's to come!

What makes TOP's section more impactful is that, if you watched the entire set, they decided to skip his parts for all the other songs. Still Life was the last song, and was first and only time you hear his voice.

You're right, Daesung was supposed to sing after Taeyang in the first part of the song but for some reason Taeyang took over his part for both nights. They didn't explain why in their behind-the-scenes clips, but I think it could be possible that they are trying to make Daesung sing lesser whenever possible because his vocals sounded a little strained at times on both weekends (he's always had throat issues since way back and had to cancel a few tour stops recently because of it). Also thank you for being able to react to this performance normally because I was a crying mess LOL I told myself I wasn't going to cry on week 2 (which is this performance) but GD had to end his speech with "this song is a story about our youth" before starting the song and all my memories as a teenager with the group suddenly came crashing like a truck and I broke down again... pretty embarrassing xD This song felt like an official farewell to TOP, and also the start to a new BIGBANG era which I'm really excited for (:

You are correct on daesung’s part. I’m not sure if they had Taeyang sing his part due to his recent throat issue. Daesung had to cancel his encore concert due to his throat condition. He has always had throat issues since the beginning of his career so he takes care and treat it very carefully. Thanks for your reaction. I love seeing you enjoy BIGBANG’s content now adays

Hahah right, people were going nuts over the follow and the fact that TOP didn't block the account xD TBH I don't foresee him rejoining the group anytime soon since his solo album made it painfully obvious, but I took the follow as a sign of OT3 showing respect and their support to TOP's solo endeavors and letting him know that he is always welcome back whenever he feels ready while they are kicking off an new era by themselves for now.

Still life feels pretty hard to us since it was the last song before TOP left and they never sung it before until coachella, through the whole set they skipped his parts but then they kept his voice Daesung just said (in one of his recent zip Daesung episodes) that all the members decided to kept his voice and was a great surprise for the reaction of the fans Also yes, Dae was supposed to sing after Taeyang's first verse but he has some issues with his throat and there were some parts of both weekends where his voice felt strained so maybe they decided to let Taeyan sing so his voice could calmed a little

when TOP voice came out at the end, you can't help but cry. This is also the first time they perform it live. I remember when the song came out, there were mixed reactions. Half of fans see it as a goodbye song, thinking bigbang as a team is disbanding. The other half saw it as hope that they'll come back. Next thing you know, they disappeared for 4 years with no news. Only this year we have confirmation they're coming back but sadly as 3. It's so emotional to finally hear it live but with only 3 members. Also, hello! I'm a new patreon and a VIP. thats what I was saying on the coachella version. Daesung was supposed to sing the 2nd verse after Taeyang. I noticed it on the 1st weekend then on the 2nd weekend Taeyang still sang Daesung's line😅
