I cried the first time I watched it, and I still cried the second time even though I already knew Armin was the one who would get injected. The childhood flashback was what really broke me.

Seeing Levi always having to be the one to reject his emotions and reduce his mind to cold logic for the benefit of humanity is painful to watch. He is the one who lost the most but never once broke under the insane duress focused on him since his literal birth 😭😭😭 Humanity's strongest soldier indeed. I was one of the few people who genuinely wanted Erwin to survive. R.I.P my goat 🤧

I am happy that Armin lived, but I feel extremely sad for Erwin. From now on, the show gets polarising in my opinion. I am really interested in your reactions moving forward.

Erwin definitely helped humanity get closer to the truth, but he also led countless people to their deaths. He always appeared decisive and unwavering, but deep down he was suffering from the weight of those sacrifices. Without the goal of uncovering the truth, he wouldn't have been able to justify everything he had done. That's why he became obsessed with it. In the end, the truth wasn't just a goal for Erwin—it was his reason to keep moving forward. Like Kenny said, everyone is a slave to something, and Erwin was a slave to his dream of uncovering the truth. When Levi asked him to give up that dream and die, Erwin looked like a man who had finally been set free. :(

Floch argues that Erwin must be saved because humanity needs a ruthless leader to fight the Titans. Floch calls Erwin a "devil" to mean a brutal, emotionless strategist who is willing to sacrifice countless lives to win a war

14:07 3 flowers: 2 purple 1 white, does it symbolize their trio of Hitch, Marlo, Annie, and we lost Marlo. Or trio of Armin, Mikasa, Eren, it predicts Armin's death. Also Reiner calls Levi "Captain" even when Levi is not around, so it shows his respect.

I think that's the sequence connecting Kenny's final words, Erwin telling Levi "thank you," and Levi choosing Armin over Erwin.

The "Armin or Erwin?" debate is one of the most iconic discussions in Attack on Titan. We can't really talk about it yet because of spoilers, but I'd love to hear your thoughts once you've finished the series!
