Remember in episode 3 when Huiju was almost investigated in connection to the fire during the bday banquet of the King, that's what they are referring to in the news.. and about the contract marriage, many theorised that it may came from Huiju's side, the spy may have gotten a hand on it in the private residence and since she is a spy of Queen Mother and Lord Inpyeong, she may have given it to Lord Inpyeong, then the Lord in turn gave it to the Queen Mother when she confronted her father about the poisoning..

With regards to the car accident, I think it was already implied in epi 3 or 4? When Lord Inpyeong was having a conversation with the Queen Mother that it would be easy to handle Huiju since she also has many enemies, so if an "accident" happened to her, it would not be "linked" to them.. but i think the Queen Mother did not know about Lord Inpyeong's plan. And the lord definitely did not expect the the young king will be with Huiju at the time of the "accident"..
